Number 1672-Thu.-Mar.31,2011-2:00 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

Chad picked me up. I was dropped off at Radio Shack. Tara was working. I brought the boxes of empty water bottles in the store and then left and walked to Wal-Mart. I bought a lot of stuff, mostly food. I also got a bottle of regular insulin, a bottle of NPH insulin, a new pair of Wrangler jeans, and a new pair of shoes. The shoes I got are solid black Starter sneakers. I tried them on in the store. For a brief moment I considered putting them both on my feet and putting the shoes I had walked in with in the shoebox and just walking out with the new shoes on my feet. I didn't do that though. I needed new shoes. The ones I had were practically falling apart. They were left by Matt when I first started working at Radio Shack. Dave said I should just take them so I did. They were slightly too big for me but I made them fit.
I pushed my cart of shit back to Radio Shack. I left it by the back door. I entered through the front door. I went to the back door, opened it, and pulled my cart in. I put all perishables and my insulin in the refrigerator. I changed my shoes. I put my old shoes in the shoebox and threw the box away in the outside trash can. No charitable organization would even accept those shoes. Trust me on this one.
Tara said she would give me a ride home so I loaded the nonperishables into her S.U.V. I walked out the back door, loaded her vehicle, and returned the cart to Wal-Mart's lot. I reentered through the front door.
The day was pretty skow. I pretty much just hung out. Tara went to lunch shortly after I clocked in. After Tara returned some bitchy woman came in. She wanted to use her Radio Shack credit card but she didn't have the card with her. She said to call some number, a number I don't even know, and get approval. I refused. She left in a huff.
Tara spent most of day in the back room. She's selling her house because she's moving to Iowa. She'll be the new district manager there. I just stayed on the sales floor but it wasn't very busy.
Justin called. He said he wasn't coming until well after his scheduled start time. He said his wife and baby are both sick. That pissed Tara off. It didn't sit too well with me either. Tara asked me if I could stay. She said Justin would give me a ride home. I agreed but I really didn't have a choice. I can use the extra hours anyway because I left early last week and I took off Wed. from Delmart. Tara was meeting with her realator so she couldn't stay. Jose couldn't be left alone. It was Ken's day off. I stayed. Justin will be leaving the store soon.
Tara left. I took the stuff I had loaded into her S.U.V. back out and brought it in the store just before she left. I was alone in the store for about 45 mins. Jose showed up. It had gotten a little busier but not too much. It always gets busier as the day wears on. I filled the bottles with water from the sink in the storage room. Somebody had already removed the boxes that were in the sink on previous times I've done this. When I was finished filling the bottles I just left the boxes where they were. I called Domino's and ordered an 8 piece boneless chicken box with habenaro mango sauce. I got a root beer too. I shot up in the back room. I was delayed in getting my food because Jose had just gotten a Radio Shack credit card approval on this one woman. When we tried to use that for her purchase of a scanner, it kept saying the card was denied. We tried at least 3 times and then Jose called the help desk. I walked to Domino's and got my chicken pieces while he was on the phone. I returned in a flash. I ate the food right there on the counter on the sales floor. I asked the customers if they minded. They didn't. The woman was a hottie and she had her father and brother with her. I stayed on the sales floor to see if Jose needed me. He didn't. Eventually the sale got approved. We never found out why her account was denied. All three people were very cool and the woman was smoking hot. I talked with all of them while Jose was on the phone getting the purchase approved. They were the only customers in the store during their purchase and while I was eating.
I got another cart, it was in the back of our store, slightly off to the side, and brought it in the store. I loaded the boxes of water and the nonperishables into it. Justin finally showed up. He was scheduled to be there at 3:00 p.m. and he showed up at 7:00 p.m. I pushed the cart through the sales floor, there was nobody there, and loaded Justin's S.U.V. I think Justin punched in but I'm not sure. I walked the cart back to Wal-Mart's lot and put it in a cart corral. Just followed me there in his S.U.V. I got in his vehicle and he drove me home. When I got home I noticed I left my horseradish in the refrigerator at Radio Shack. That pissed me off because I was looking forward to sandwiches with horseradish.

Number 1670-Tue.-Mar.29,2011-1:36 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

After I left the library I leisurely walked toward Erica's apt. I stopped in Delmart and bought a pack of cigarettes. I had left a barely eaten bag of Munchos there for Mandy but she didn't take them home. Steve was there and gave me the bag back. I walked down the street with a bag of Munchos.
I stopped in Circle Of Friends. I stopped in Circle Of  Friends. http://www.examiner.com/top-news-in-milwaukee/delavan-welcomes-circle-of-friends-location Mandy's mother runs that store and it just opened. I wanted to check it out. I was instantly attracted to the store. Mandy's mother, I forget her name, was playing "Mambo Italiano" by Dean Martin on the CD player. Any place that plays Dean Martin has to be ok. I walked around the store and talked with Mandy's mother. I need a blanket and one was available for the asking price of $3.00. Mandy's mother said she'd let it go for 50 cents.  There was only one other person in the store. It looked like she was checking it out too. I offered Mandy's mother some Muncho's. She took some and loved them. I gave her the back. She said I could take some candy bars. I took one Mallow Cup. I gave her $1.00 for the blanket and left with it.
I stopped in The Smoke Shop. A delivery of tubes was coming in when I was. The same Fed Ex woman who delivers to Radio Shack delivered the tubes. I talked to Dave and Erin. Dave said he would work on any machine for free regardless of where it was purchased. How cool is that? I've known Dave and Erin for almost 20 yrs. now. They're still cool. It's like they haven't aged. They still look the same too.
After I talked with them for a while I went up to Erica's apt. She was there. I basically went to sleep right away on her bed. I woke up when Sheldon came over, which was about an hour and a half later. He left to get some liquor and took a shower. I got out of the shower and shot up. Sheldon had returned. Erica had invited him over for dinner yesterday. She invited Julie, his girlfriend, over too but she couldn't come because she was sick. I find it kinda odd that a man would leave his ill girlfriend to go over to another woman's apt. for dinner but whatever. Erica had made enough food for at least 4 people since Brad was expected too. Brad showed up but left right away. He said someone else was making him dinner. I was offered food and took advantage of the offer. Erica made hamburgers but there were no buns. We adorned the patties with various condiments and ate them with a fork. The patties were under cooked. I didn't eat mine. I made some excuse. I don't like eating undercooked ground meat. It's just too dangerous. Erica and Sheldon ate theirs though. I left.
I walked to Delmart and dropped off my blanket and the other shit I was carrying around. I then went to Family Dollar and bought shampoo, hydrogen peroxide, and petroleum jelly. I dropped that off a Delmart. I went to Sunmist Cafe. My usual booth was taken so I sat one booth away. Jessica was working. I ordered a veal cutlet dinner. After I ate it I went to work at Delmart.
I relieved Chad. He asked me if I heard anything about someone getting stabbed at Sprts City, I hadn't, I asked the emplyees from there when they came in. None of them heard anything about that. I just put it down as another bullshit rumor. The night was steady. I did all the duties. Maranda stopped but she didn't stay long.
After I closed the store I walked over to the office, carrying all my shit. I had the blanket, all the shit I got at Family Dollar, my towel, and a casserole dish I had brought to Delmart on Sun. so I could wash it. The door of the building was locked. Nick Stratton's car was parked in front so I knocked on the window, no aswer after 2 mins. I knocked again. This time he answered the door. I just sat in Nick Kilkenny's office and talked to Nick Stratton. Corey just sat in the large center area. After a few minutes Nick Kilkenny showed up. I loaded my shit into the station wago and we Nick K., Corey, and I got in the car. Carly was already in the car. Nick K. drove me home. I was dropped off on the road and carried my shit to my trailer. When I got in I heard a messege from Audra. It was left yesterday. She sounded in dire straights. I'm pissed at her but I hope she's ok.

Number 1669-Mon.-Mar.28,2011-11:59 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

Steve picked me up and brought me to Delmart. It was a steady shift. The day was nice and sunny. While I was working this guy came by and asked for people to unload a truck tomorrow. He said it would be 3 hrs. work and he'd pay $40.00. He said the work starts at 7:30 a.m. Since I had nothing beter to do and $13.33/hr is a nice wage, I volunteered myself. I had already asked Chrissy to give me a ride home after I got off work but I figured I'd just tell her I was spending the night at Erica's.
Mandy showed up a few minutes early to relieve me. I went in the back hallway to shoot up. When I got out Chrissy was there. I told her I had a money making opportunity in the morning and I didn't need a ride home. She wasn't pissed or anything. I also called Nick and told him not to pick me up later that night.
I walked to Erica's place. I picked up a carry out menu from Elizabeth's along the way. Erica wanted to go to Noe's house so I walked her there. She gave me the key to her place because it was likely I would return there before she did. After I walked her to Noe's house I picked up my insulin at Delmart. I went to Elizabeth's and ordered a prime rib dinner. It was pretty good. I also got the appetizer combo. I was hungry. I walked back to Erica's and she had arrived there a few minutes before me. She was looking for her keys in the mailbox when I showed up. Sheldon had given her a ride back home. He didn't stay.
I just settled in and watched TV. Erica left again to go to La Guanajuato to get someting, I don't know what. Her mother went with her. Her mother lives downstairs. Dwight and Nancy live downstairs too but Dwight isn't talking to Erica for some reason. Erica returned. Brad showed up after a while. I told him about the job in the morning and he was all for the idea. I went to bed on Erica's bed, Brad slept in his bed, and Erica slept on the love seat.
I got up before the alarm. I didn't sleep very well as it was. The alarm went off and Erica woke up Brad. I brushed my teeth and went to Sunmist Cafe. I got a ham, chhese, and mushroom omelette and some bacon. After I ate it I went across the street to Elizabeth's to get Brad. He was there and after he finished his coffee we went to the job site. It was at Christ Episcopal Church on 5th and Walworth. http://www.christepiscopalchurchofdelavanwi.org/downloads/1088/oldchurchphotos.pdf The turck driver, Don, needed stuff unloaded from his semi. Brad and I were there to help. Some other guy showed up too. Last night I had asked Mandy if she wanted to help but apparently she didn't or couldn't find a babysitter. This other guy smelled really bad.
We started unloading the truck. All of us did various thing. I unloaded shit and took shit out of boxes in the church. It took longer than 3 hrs. and some of the boxes were heavy or cumbersome or both. It took longer than I expected and it was harder than I expected but that's ok. There were other people working on the church. They were construction workers.
After we were finished Don gave us each $40.00. The one guy left. I don't know where he went. Brad and I hung around until Don was ready to go. Brad went back to Elizabeth's. I went to Family Dollar and bought a 20oz. Coke. I then went to the library and wrote this blog. I'm at the library now.

Nick and I were going to fix my pipe today but since it's still below freezing at night I didn't want to take the chance of the pipe breaking again. We didn't fix it. I didn't do shit today.

Number 1667-Sat.-Mar.26,2011-12:16 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

I walked down to the road to meet Nick. I had two boxes of empty water bottles with me. He showed up and took me to Radio Shack. Corey was off today so Nick was alone.
Tara and Ken were working when I got there. The day was pretty much just hanging out and selling stuff for me. I didn't sell anything major. Tara told Ken and me that she got promoted to district manager in Iowa. She starts that in less than 2 weeks. That sucks because I'll miss her. She's pretty cool. Tony will be taking over the store once she's gone. That's not so bad then. Tony's way cool too. I went to a Motorhead concert with him. He worked for about 2 weeks at our store. He has health situations but I'm not exactly sure what they are. The delavan store will have a nearly blind guy, a guy with diabetes, and a guy with whatever Tony has working there. Frank had Turrets. Frank didn't get fired because he has Turrets. Frank got fired because he's a moron.
I filled the bottles with water from the sink in the storage room. Justin showed up. I was supposed to work until 7:00 p.m. but I wasn't certain of a ride home until later than that. Tara was leaving at around 5:00 p.m. so I asked her if I could punch out early and she could give me a ride home. She said yes to both. Ken and Justin were working and there was no need for 3 people to be on duty.
Just before Tara and I left I walked to Wal-Mart. I had already punched out. I bought a case of Coke, a case of Mt. Dew, pork chops, Shake 'N' Bake, and Italian seasoning. The pork chops were being stocked and I just pulled a package off the loaded stocking cart. I don't think the stocker even knew I took one off. I exhausted my Quest benefits and paid the balance with my check card. I walked the cart of groceries back to Radio Shack. I left the cart by the back door and entered through the front door. I walked to the back door and brought the cart inside the back hallway. I loaded the boxes of water into the cart. Tara's S.U.V. was locked but she gave me the key. I left out the back door with the cart and walked around the building to Tara's S.U.V. I loaded my groceries and water in the back. I walked the cart back to Wal-Mart's lot and put it in a corral. I walked back to Radio Shack and entered through the front door.
I noticed some woman was cleaning puke off the floor. I guess I made the right choice to leave early. The woman's small daughter had puked right there on the sales floor. Tara was ready to leave. We left. I gave her her keys on the walk to her S.U.V. She drove me home.

I forgot to mention that I paid Landmark Credit Union and SBC yesterday. I paid SBC from work after I deposited the money.
I called Dr Osbourne's office today. I made an appt. Hopefully she'll sign the paper to get my license back.
Ken called me just after 12:00 p.m. The schedule said for me to be there at noon but I had already talked to Tara about not being able to come in until 1:30 p.m. Nobody told Ken.
I walked to the road to meet Dan. Corey was with him when he showed up. I was dropped off at Radio Shack. Ken was working. There was a new A.T.G. that I took. It was on tablets. There was only one question on the quiz. After that I started to put the order away. Ken helped me with that. That took up most of the day. A couple came in and wanted to return a cell phone. Ken was unfamiliar with the new P.O.S. so he told them to return Sat.
Jose showed up. The order still hadn't been put away so he helped us with that. Ken was going to do the deposit on the new P.O.S. but once again there were problems. He called someone and the person on the phone helped him through it. I don't know who he called. After the deposit was completed, Ken left.
I shot up in the back room. Before I did that I called Domino's and placed an order. I was taking a blood sugar reading while I was on the phone with Roger. I ordered a habenaro mango chicken sandwich and cheese bread. I walked to Domino's and got it and then returned to Radio Shack. I ate in the back room.
The rest of the night was steady I sold my first prepaid and postpaid cell phones on the new P.O.S. The postpaid wasn't actually a phone. It was an aircard. I didn't have any problems with the new P.O.S. but jose helped me. At the end of the night Nick Stratton was there. He was hanging out past closing. I was trying to get him out. He was being a dick. He finally left just after we closed. I set the alarm and Jose drove me home.

Number 1665-Thu.-Mar.24,2011-1:49 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

Craig was supposed to pick me up at 10:15 a.m. At 10:20 a.m. I called him, no answer. I continuously called him for about 2 mins., no answer. I called his house and his mother answered and said he went to work. Upon hearing this I walked down to Kim D's. trailer. I knocked on her door and she answered. I asked her if she could give me a ride to work. She said yes. I walked back to my house to get the empty bottles and then walked back to Kim D's place. As I was waiting for her to get ready Craig drove in the park. He saw me standing on Kim D's. porch. He stopped. I knocked on the door, opened it, and told Kim D my ride had shown up. Craig drove me to Radio Shack.
Ken was working when I got there. It was only 10:44 a.m. I thought it was later. I dropped my boxes off and walked to Wal-Mart. I deposited some money into my bank account there. I then walked to Panera and bought a large cup of hazelnut coffe. When I got back to Radio Shack the new P.O.S. was giving me problems right away. The new P.O.S. started on Tue. I couldn't figure out how to punch in. It took Ken a while to help me. He couldn't readilt figure it out either. I finally punched in at 11:18 a.m. I was there on time at 11:00 a.m. I made my decision right there that I would try to avoid ringing up as many customers as I could today.
I started putting the force feed order away. Ken had already been doing that. I continued with that for most of the day. I did have to ring up a few customers but I muddled throught it. I got all of the force feed order away except for the new stuff. We couldn't get price tags for it because the internet was down. I figured I'd let Jose do it later since that was pretty much the only thing he had to do.
I walked over to Domino's to get three twenty ounce root beers. Dave was there and asked me questions about a cell phone. James was there too and he said he had extra food and asked if I wanted it for free. Serendipity does work in my favor at times. I asked both Dave and james if they wamted it and they both declined. I gladly accepted the food. It was an order of boneless chicken pieces. Dave asked me what sauce I wanted and I decided on the habenaro mango. I walked back to Radio Shack with my drinks and food. I ate the chicken pieces right away in the back hallway. That habenaro mango sauce was the best sauce I have ever tasted with chicken pieces. I want to put that shit on everything that I eat. It was the first time I had it. I drank a root beer too. I knew this would send my blood sugar through the roof.
I filled the bottles with water from the sink in the storage room. Jose showed up while I was doing this. Ken was going to show me how to do the deposit on the new P.O.S. but there was a glitch. It seems like the whole system went down on the bank completion page. I went in back to shoot up and told Ken I'd learn another day.
I shot up in the back room. Before I did that I called China 1 and put in an order for a shrimp egg foo yung all day special. I walked over there and ate it there. It was quite busy there today. I walked back to Radio Shack and punched back in from lunch. I had no problem punching in and out for lunch. Ken left while I was gone. Jose told me that Ken never could get into the bank deposit page. Ken just did a manual deposit today.
The rest of the night was pretty slow. I still avoided customers as much as possible. I did ring up a few. The system said my password was invalid once. Jose and I figured out how to change it. After I changed it there were no problems. Jose put up the new items and I put up the clearance and sale tags. Craig showed up a few mins. early and I loaded the boxes of water bottles into his car. He had his guitar strwn across the back seat so he moved that to accomodate the boxes. He put the guitar on the back floor, propped up against the back rests of the front seat. I walked back in and punched out. Justin had left me his keys and I got them. I'll return them to him tomorrow. I entered my code into the alarm, locked the door, and left. Craig drove me home.

Number 1664-Wed.-Mar.23,2011-12:49 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

Dan picked me up. Corey was with him. We went to Walgreens. Corey had to pick up something but I don't know what. Dan bought paper towels. I bought two Ototek Loops. http://www.ototekloop.com/  They're available only at Walgreens. I've broken two off in my ear before so I guess I should be extra careful with these. Jan was working. Jan is Laura Baker's mom. They're both cool. I haven't seen Laura in over ten yrs. Jan told me Laura is no a grandmother. Laura is younger than me.
We went to Delmart next. I dropped off my 2 boxes of empty water bottles. We then went to the office. Dan and corey went in the office and I walked to Erica's place. I would have walked from Delmart but it was raining.
I knocked on Erica's door and she answered. Brad was there too. I just hung out and watched TV for a while. Erica went onto her bed to sleep. I slept on the love seat. Brad left after a while and Erica moved to his bed to sleep. I moved to Erica's bed to sleep. I woke up when the clock said it was 4:00 p.m. It talks out the hour, every hour. If I was blind I guess I'd want that too. I took a shower, took a blood sugar reading, and then left.
I walked to Delmart. It was windy and spraying rain. I had left my insulin there from last night so I shot up in the back hallway. I left and went to Buena Vista. I was going to go to China Garden but I changed my mind. I ordered a chimichanga. I was the only customer in the place. It was just me and another dude there. He played the role of host, waiter, cook, and bus person. I guess it was the slow time of day. After I ate I went to Remember When. http://www.rememberwhenllc.com/ I bought a 20 oz almond latte. Lori Wuttke served me. I didn't even recognize but of course she recognized me. I went to high school with her. I must say she got more attractive over the years. She remembered we had a high school biology class together. How do people remember this shit? She asked me what the name of our biology teacher was. I can barely remember yesterday.
I walked to Delmart. I relieved Chad. The night was steady but kind of slow. It was still raining for most of the night. I did all the duties. I watched this program about Codex Gigas. on The National Geographic channel. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codex_Gigas I couldn't believe that this is the first time I've heard of it in my life. Towards the end of the night there were cops all over the store. It seems like they were looking for someone. None of the cops asked me anything and I didn't ask them anything.
I closed the store and waited for Nick. I talked with this girl named Amanda in front of Sports City. I had just met her. Nick showed up and I loaded the water into the station wagon. Corey and Carly were with him. I was dropped off first and then Nick went on to drop Corey off at The Huberdorm.

After I left the library I went to Sunmist Cafe. I sat in my usual spot. Jessica was working. She always is on Mon. or Tue. night. I ordered a full rack of ribs. It's an expensive order but I love ribs. The place was busier than usual. It took forever for my ribs to come out and I thought I might not make it to work on time. My entree arrived 35 mins. after I ordered it. I ate it and had a few minutes to spare. I even got desert, tapioca of course. It was included with the meal. The ribs weren't the best.
I walked to Delmart. I relieved Chad. Nick was there when I got there. He was buying cigarettes. He took my bag of dirty clothes and put it in his car. Chad said the cappuccino machines didn't need filling. I didn't check and I didn't argue with him.
The night was bookended with customers. When I first got there it was busy for about 30 mins. After that it was dead. I did the duties and got them completed pretty quickly. I watched "Unforgiven" on broadcast TV. It's one of my favorite movies. About 30 mins. before I closed there was a rush of customers. It seems that's always the case.
I walked to the office after I closed the store. The front door to the building was unlocked. I went in. Nick Stratton was there and so was Corey. Nick S. was working on his website. His Grid Runner service is doing well and he's going to expand his services. I talked with him until Nick K. showed up.
When Nick K. showed up I loaded my laundry into the station wagon. Carly was already in the car. Nick drove Corey back to The Huberdorm first and then dropped me off. Nick S. stayed at the office. When I got inside I made my bed and put my laundry away.

I decided to come down to the library to write this blog. I figured it'll save time later and I have some time now.
Chase sent me a letter. They didn't receive the last payment. They take it out of my checking account automatically but after a year they have to have permission from me to continue. I called them and told them to continue with the payments out of my account. Everything's fine now and I wasn't assessed any charges.
Dan picked me up. Corey was with him. We stopped at the post office so Dan could get his mail out of his P. O. box. I was then dropped off at the laundromat in Delavan.
I put my laundry in the washers. Some woman was using the machines I wanted so I used the more expensive machines. After I started my laundry I walked to the office to drop off my detergent and fabric softener. I walked to Erica's. She wasn't home. I knocked on her mother and Dwight's door. There was no answer at either place. I walked to Delavan Dele. I ordered a BBQ beef sandwich. I ate it there and talked to Patty, the woman who runs the place. I told her I met James Taylor because "You've Got A Friend" was on the radio. She started telling me how she met Gary Burghoff. She kept on and on about meeting celebrities. I wish I would have never mentioned it. I went through the list of celebrities I've met. I left and walked back to the laundromat.
I put my laundry in the dryers. I walked across the street to the Hallmark store. I talked to Jackie. I went to high school with her. I walked back to the laundromat and saw 1 of 2 loads was finished. I took it out and walked it to the office. I went to Erica's. She still wasn't there. I knocked on Dwight's door and he answered. He didn't know where she was. I was walking to Noeie's house when I saw him walking down the street. I was behind him. I followed him to his car. Erica was in it. I told her about what I was doing and how I wanted to shower at her place. She gave me the key to her place. She was going somewhere else. I walked back to the laundromat.
The load that was left wasn't completely dry so I put in another quarter. That gave me 10 mins. I talked with this guy named Mike. He lives out of his truck. He was giving me this sad sack story and I was trying to be optimistic and point out the good things. When my laundry was dry I took it out of the dryer and folded what needed to be folded. I walked it down to the office.
I went to Bond's Auto to see if they make keys. They don't. I went to the body shop across the street to see if they make keys. They don't. I went to Market Street Deli and got 2 carry out menus. Nick Stratton was in his car outside so I talked to him for about a minute.
After I talked to Nick S. I walked up to Erica's place. I watched TV for a while and then was about to take a shower. I was the only one there. There was no toilet paper so I walked to La Guanajuato and bought a roll. I bought a Coke too. I walked back to Erica's place. She still wasn't there. I took a shower. I left after I took a shower. I shot up. I walked to Delmart and dropped my bag of dirty clothes off.  I then walked to the library to write this blog. Here I am.

Number 1660-Sun.-Mar.20,2011-8:33 p.m. C.D.T. (1)

Yesterday Tara called me and said she needed the magnetic key. She offered to come to my house to get it but I said I'd see if my ride would take me to Radio Shack and I'd drop it off. If I wasn't there before 4:00 p.m., Tara would know to come to Delmart and get the key.
Aiesha picked me up. Charlotte and Liam were with her. I asked her if we could go to Radio Shack to drop off the key and she said yes. We went to Radio Shack. Aiesha stayed in the van. I went inside and handed Justin the key. Tara, Jose, and Justin were working. I also left the door key there so Ken didn't have to go to Delmart to pick it up. I asked Tara if I could wear the shoes I was wearing to work there but she said no. I guess the silver Nike stripe doesn't adhere to the Radio Shack dress code. Aiesha drove me to Delmart.
I relieved Blanca. It was busy from the time I came in until the time I left. It was a nice day out. I did all the duties.
After I closed I walked to Erica's place. She was lying on the couch. She had gone to a friend's house with Nancy and she had a couple of drinks. I took a shower. When I got out Brad was there. He had gotten home while I was taking a shower. I stayed up and talked to Brad while he ate. After he was finished everybody went to bed, Brad in his room, Erica on the couch, and I went to sleep in Erica's room.
Erica woke me up before she went to church. That was at 8:00 a.m. I went back to sleep thinking her talking clock would announce the time every hour. It didn't. I woke up at 11:00 a.m. I had to be to work at Delmart at 12:00 p.m. Brad got up when I did. Erica was gone. She was at church. It was raining and she probably hung out at church so she didn't have to walk home in the rain.
I took a shower. Brad left while I was in the shower. I left and locked the apt. door. I walked to Delmart. The rain was steady but not too heavy. I stopped for about a minute under Tommy Gun's Antiques' canopy. That place used to be Ben Franklin and a lot of people still refer to it as that.
I relieved Darlene at Delmart. Steve was there too. They both left, seperately, shortly after I arrived. The day was steady. It was busier than I thought it would be. It was raining for about 80% of my shift. Meranda, Britney, and their friend hung out at the store from an hour after I started until I left. They're pretty cool.
Mandy showed up on time. As I was counting out Kim B. showed up to buy cigarettes. I asked her for a ride home. She said yes. I had called Britney's mom, Lisa, for a ride too but she said no. After I counted out, Kim B. gave me a ride home. Meranda and the other girls were still there when I left.

Number 1659-Sat.-Mar,19,2011-1:23 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

It's officially the anniversary of Randy Rhodes' death. He was the best guitarist ever. He would have been venerated beyond belief had he lived. I think about this every Mar.19.
Craig picked me up. I was dropped off at Radio Shack. I didn't start until 12:30 p.m. and Craig picked me up at 11:00 a.m. I didn't go in immediately. I walked to Panera and got a large cup of hazelnut coffee. I walked back to Radio Shack. I went inside. Justin was working. T ara was there too but she was in back with Bob, a manager from another store, setting up the new P.O.S. She wasn't expected to be in the store until tomorrow.
I talked to Justin for a while and then left. I walked to Wal-Mart. I bought a t-shirt that says, "Born Lucky". It was $5.00 yesterday but only $2.50 today because it's after St. Patrick's Day. The shirt is green. I also bought hydrogen peroxide, toothbrushes, and a chef's kinfe. The knife's edge is serrated. I got 2 bottles of NPH insulin too.
I walked back to Radio Shack. Tara had already left. I was still early so I just hung out until it was time to punch in. After I punched in I opened boxes of the order that came in. It was all cell phones. Justin checked them in and put them away. Justin and I were debating on whether or not to do the laptop planogram. It's set up where it makes selling certain laptops more difficult because they're not displayed. We decided to hold off and talk with Tara about it. We didn't do too much after that. We just sold stuff and not too much. It was slow during the day.
Jose showed up. There were 3 people on duty and no business. It got a little busier as the night wore on. A woman came in because she couldn't send texts out of her Blackberry. I touched a couple of button but don't know which ones. It fixed the problem. She thought I was a genius and so did Jose. I don't even know what I touched.
I shot up in the back room when it was time and then walked to Subway. I went to the one in the strip mall not the one in Wal-Mart. I ordered a Philly Steak and cheese meal. I ate it there. When I returned to Radio Shack Justin had already left.
The night was much busier. Frank, a guy I've known for over 20 yrs., came in and bought a Sirius radio and a home kit. His friend actually bought it but I don't know his friend's name. After they left this woman was having trouble with her phone. She couldn't remember the pattern to her password. We suggested a hard reset but she tried other methods. She got on one of our displayed laptops and got into her Google account. She was short so I let her stand on the stepstool ladder. She had her friend with her. They were both hot. They had 3 kids with them aged 4, 9, and 13. The smaller kids were running around while the one woman worked on the computer. Jose went to lunch. There was nobody else in the store for almost the entire duration of her task. A man came in to pay a bill toward the end. The woman was successful in accomplishing her goal. It took her a while but she was very happy. We didn't have to do a hard reset. If we had done that everything would have been erased from her phone. A hard reset sets the phone back to the day it was taken out of the box. While she was working to get into her phone she said she would hump everyone in the store if she was successful. She wasn't true to her word.
Jose returned shortly after the group left. I walked to Panera and refilled my coffee. Culver's and bought a medium marshmellow Cement Mixer with whipped cream, brownie pieces, and peacans. I walked back to Radio Shack. I had about 2 bites out of the Cement Mixer before it got all crazy. Frank and his friend returned because they couldn't get the radio to work. They returned it. That sucks because it was a larger sale and I got a service plan on the radio. After they left the store got super busy. It was the last 45 mins. and people just came in after a day of nonactivity. I hate that. I did sell a Boost Blackberry phone though. After I did that I called all the stores and got their numbers. I e-mailed the numbers to the Gurnee Mills store. I printed the reports. Jose vacuumed while I printed the reports. He also dealt with the last of the customers while I collected the numbers. He and I were out about 10 mins. late due to the customers and the final duties.
Jose left through the back door. I still had my coffee and Cement Mixer. The Cement Mixer had melted. I entered my code and was about to leave through the front door. Jose had locked it. My hand were full with my Wal-Mart stuff, The Cement Mixer, and my coffee. The alarm was in it's countdown to exit. I set my coffee and Cement Mixer on the table next to the front door. I knocked off the cement mixer onto the floor. It landed on the hard floor instead of the carpet. The alarm had about 15 seconds left before it sounded. I had no time to clean up the mess and I didn't want to fuck with the alarm to disengage it or excede the time. I left and locked the door. Craig was waiting for me. He was there since before closing time.
I got in Craig's car and we went to Delmart. I went inside while Craig waited in the car. I cashed my check. I was delayed by talking with Gail and Blanca. Gail was there buying something and Blanca was working. I gave Craig $5.00 when I got back in his car and he drove me home. I was let off by the mailboxes upon my request. I checked my mail but there was nothing important in my mailbox.
I considered calling Tara when I got in my house to tell her about the Cement Mixer spill. I also came home with a magnetic security key. I was going to call her but I couldn't find her number. It was late anyway.
I tried to sleep for a little bit but Lisa was outside of Jeff's trailer talking on her cell phone. My walls are thin and I could hear every word she was saying. After a while I went out there to ask her to keep it down. I figured I better start now before this becomes a problem. She was all apologetic and said she would go inside. I said there was no problem. I didn't go back to my nap when I got inside. I started writing this blog.

Number 1658-Fri.-Mar.18,2011-1:27 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

The construction for the new piping was around my house today. They were digging up my lawn. When Nick came to pick me up the area around my house was impassable. I walked a few feet down to meet him. I carried 2 boxes of empty water bottles with me. Corey was with him.
I was dropped off at Radio Shack. It was 1:00 p.m. and I didn't start until 3:30 p.m. Justin was working. He was putting the order away. I filled all twelve bottles full of water in the sink in the storage room. After that I helped him break down some empty boxes from the order. I didn't punch in. Ken showed up. I left.
I walked to Panera. http://www.panerabread.com/ I got a large cup of hazelnut coffee. I took a paper menu on my way out. I stopped at Mattress Firm. http://www.mattressfirm.com/ I was looking to buy some pillows but it wasn't really a pressing need. The girl at Mattress Firm was hot. Her name is Kristin. I talked with her a while. The least expensive pillow they sell is $60.00. Some pillows were over $100.00 and that's just for one. I can sleep on rocks for that price. I left after a few mins. I stopped at Yo Shi and took a menu. I ended up gathering menus from the entire strip including Chili's and Culver's. http://www.chilis.com/EN/Pages/home.aspx http://www.culvers.com/ I continued on and got a menu from Papa John's and Subway. http://www.papajohns.com/index.html http://www.subway.com/subwayroot/index.aspx I saw Stream at Subway. I've known her for years and she's cool. I stopped in the AT&T store. Ieesha was working there. I sat and talked to her for about 20 mins. She used to work at Radio Shack. Gonzo was there too. I asked if they're hiring but they're not. I left and got a menu from Starbucks. http://www.starbucks.com/?gclid=CJyXpLCy16cCFYS8KgodkDt99A After that I walked all the way across the strip again and got menus from China 1, Chili's, and Culver's. http://www.china1us.com/ I stopped at Panera again and refilled my coffee. After that I went to Radio Shack.
I arrived a few minutes early but too early. I just hung out until it was time to punch in. I smoked a cigarette in back and got a cart from Walmart's parking lot to put the boxes of water in. I punched in. Justin went to the bank. I started taking the training coarse on the new P.O.S. It looks like the new P.O.S. will expediate things and make things easier. It's not too different from the current P.O.S. Justin returned from the bank while I was taking the course. The course took me nearly 2 hrs. to complete. It was quite long and had interactive activities to complete. I like the new P.O.S. and can't wait for it to be implemented. I couldn't have picked a better day to take the course. It was so slow today. I only rang up 1 ticket for $29.99. I sold a pair of headphones. I got the service plan on it though so I was 100% on my service plans today. Justin left while I was taking the new P.O.S. course.
After I finished the course I shot up in the back room. I then walked to China 1 and ate a sesame chicken special. I ate it there. I had called and ordered it before I went there.
I walked back to Radio Shack. Ken went to lunch when I returned. It was dead all night. No more than 5 people walked through the door and none of them bought anything. It was the slowest night I have ever seen at Radio Shack even from when I worked there 16 yrs. ago. Ken and I just hung out. He collected the store numbers. After he did that I walked to Panera and refilled my coffee. I brought it back to Radio Shack and then left again. I walked to Sonoma Cellars. http://www.sonoma-cellars.com/ I bpught a 4pk of Guinness in cans. Today being St. Patrick's Day had nothing to do with it, really. I don't drink alcohol much and I hate beer in cans except for Guinness, Boddingtons, and Harp. http://www.guinness.com/ http://www.anheuser-busch.com/brandPages/boddingtons.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harp_Lager I prefer those brands in cans. I don't know why. I walked back to Radio Shack and put the Guinness in the refrigerator. Ken walked to Sonoma Cellars and returned with a bottle of Santa Alicia merlot. http://www.santa-alicia.cl/varietals_merlot.php I don't like merlot very much. After he returned we just waited it out until closing. Not a soul came in.
I pushed the cart out the back door a few mins. before we closed. Ken did the reports and I closed the store. I entered my code into the alarm tonight. Ken's sister's boyfriend was going to pick him up. I waited out front until he showed up. He did after about 10 mins. Ken's sister and some dude were in the car too. I walked to the back of Radio Shack and got my cart of water and Guinness. I pushed it wo Wal-Mart. http://www.walmart.com/ The same door greeter was working tonight that was working last night. Her name is Janet. I asked the girl who works at Subway if she could give me a ride home. I've known her a while. Her name is Nicole. She said yes. I talked to Janet while Nicole closed Subway. When she was finished I pushed my cart out to her and loaded the water and Guiness in. I offered her a Guinness to be drunk later but she said she doesn't drink due to diabetes of the liver. I have never heard of that. It doesn't exsist. I didn't contest her statement though. I just told her I have diabetes. Nicole drove me home. We talked along the way.

Number 1657-Thu.-Mar.17,2011-1:25 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

Dan picked me up. Corey wasn't with him because Weds. are the days Corey has a meeting. I was dropped off at Radio Shack. Justin was working. I got there around noon and thought I didn't start until 12:30 p.m. so I walked to Panera and got a large cup of hazelnut coffee. When I returned to Radio Shack I looked at the schedule and saw I was supposed to be there at noon. I punched in.
I started the day by putting a cell phone order away. Aiesha showed up and we talked for a few minutes. She was at Starbuck's. It was Liam's, her son,  birthday today. He's 4. After Aiesha left I started on the planogram for cables. I got that done in about an hour. The planogram sheet said it should thake 15 mins. They're never right. After that Justin and I just sold stuff. He was in the back most of the time studying a new tutorial on the new P.O.S. system we're getting in on Tue. We're a training store so all the other stores will be calling us asking questions on how to use the new P.O.S. We have to know it inside and out. I was supposed to start the tutorial later in the evening but it got too busy.
Jose showed up. He showed up 3 hrs. early to talk to Justin. Justin was at lunch when Jose arrived. After Justin returned Jose talked to him and then left. I shot up in the back room. I walked to Domino's and got three 20 oz. root beers. I walked back to Radio Shack and cooked the won ton and shrimp curry in the microwave. I had brought it from home. I ate it at the desk.
After I finished eating Jose showed up again for work. Justin left. Jose gave me the store keys. I'm a keyholder since Tera is gone to MN. I'll give up being a keyholder when she returns.
The night was very busy. I sold two Sprint phones, one was an Evo. Jose sold two Sprint phones to one woman. The woman had her identity stolen because she tried to open a Sprint account before but they said she already had an account. She cleared that up with Sprint and there was no problem getting her phones tonight.
I did the deposit. Noey showed up to pay a bill at that time. He had to wait a few mins. Erica was in the car and I went out to say hi to her. I did the reports. I took out the trash. Jose vacuumed. I printed the clearance tags about which nobody told me. I looked on the price tag page and realized the tags needed to be printed. The Gurnee Mills store called me and asked for numbers in the district. Nobody told me about gathering numbers either. I called the stores and got their numbers and then called Gurnee Mills back and told them the numbers. I closed the store. I'll always have a code to do that. I forgot to punch out.
I walked to Wal-Mart. I talked to Leanne. John walked by me and I asked him what time he gets off and if he'd give me a ride. He said he would. I shopped and bought pastrami, pickles, and yogurt. I checked out using my Quest card but then went back in. I bought spoons for Erica's place, there's a shortage of them there, and knives for myself. I wanted a knife with a serrated edge but I couldn't find one. I checked out and talked to the new door greeter, I forgot her name, while I waited for John to get off. He came by and we left. He drove me home. He listened to crappy REO Speedwagon songs on the ride home. I didn't recognize any tune and I used to like REO Speedwagon a lot. I still do, kinda.

Number 1656-Wed.-Mar.16,2011-12:47 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

Today was almost exactly like yesterday. Dan picked me up. Corey was with him. We stopped at the Delavan post office and Corey got out and mailed some of Dan's mail. We went to the office. Dan and I worked out the scheduling for rides.
I left and went to Delavan Gold and Diamond Exchange. I had more silver certificates I wanted to sell but they were closed. I walked to Erica's place. I took a shower. I watched TV. I slept. Erica woke me up. I shot up. I left. I went to China Garden. I ordered shrimp curry and fried won ton with meat. It was a lot of food. I didn't think I would get that much. I ate what I could and boxed up the rest. As I was leaving I noticed Nick was at the office. I went there. I talked to him about ride scheduling outside the front door. Nick Stratton was there but I don't know what he was doing. I went to La Guanajuato and bought a 20 oz Coke. The sign on the store says La Guanajauto but I think their official name is Mi Lindo Guanajauto. I'll use the shorter henceforth. I used my Quest card to buy the Coke. I walked to Delmart. I relieved Chad. I did all the duties. It was steady tonight. A woman came in and bought $7.07 in gas. She gave me $2.00 in cash and tried to put the remainder on her card. It was denied. I lent her a few cents and she coughed up another dollar. She called her bank to see what her balance was. After the new amout of cash was taken the card was swiped and approved.
After I closed the store I walked to the office. Nick Stratton was there. Nick Kilkenny, Corey, and I left in Nick Kilenny's car. Nick Stratton left in his own. I was dropped off by the mailboxes and Nick went on to drop Corey off at The Huberdorm.

Number 1655-Tue.-Mar.15,2011-2:14 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

Dan picked me up. Corey was with him. I was dropped off at Delmart. I put my boxes of empty water bottles in the store and then left. I went to Delavan Diamond and Gold Exchange. http://www.delavanpawn.com/ I had never been there before and I wanted to check it out. I was just checking out the stuff there when I remembered I had a 1957 silver star certificate on me. I asked the guy, I didn't get his name, how much he would give me for it. He said $15.00. Even though I thought I could get slightly more somewhere else I took him up on his offer. The bill is in excellent to near mint condition. I took it in as payment for cigars at Delmart and it had been in my wallet ever since. Some other guy was selling and old video game player and an old meat press. As I was walking out some guy was walking in with three electric guitars.
I walked to Delavan Dele. I bought a Mt. Dew. They sell 24 oz. bottles there for the price of a 20 oz. bottle. Erica had asked me to get her one before I came over today.
I walked to Erica's place. She had half a frozen peperoni pizza there that was cooked she said I could eat. I took her up on that and finished it. She told me her mother went to the hospital this morning. Noey's parents had driven her to the clinic on Hwy 50 and 67. http://www.mercyhealthsystem.org/body.cfm?xyzpdqabc=0&id=10&action=detail&ref=55 Erica said her mother hasn't been caring for her diabetes. I didn't even know she had diabetes. I asked Erica her mother's age. I was surprised to hear 47. That's only 5 yrs. older than me and Erica's mother looks like she's in her late 50s or early 60s. I hope her mother gets well soon. Her name is Theresa.
I took a shower. After that I just hung out and watched TV. I slept a while on Erica's bed. She got anew bed which is better than her air matress. It's a twin sized bed. There is a box spring but no frame so it sits low to the ground. While I was sleeping Nancy showed up and woke me up with her noise. It wasn't intentional. She left shortly and I went back to sleep.
Erica woke me up when I asked her to. I shot up. Erica had an audio book on CD that she wanted to return to the library. I said I would do that. The book was titled "Under The Dome" and it was written by Stephen King. I don't know who read it on the CDs. http://www.stephenking.com/library/novel/under_the_dome.html
I left Erica's place. I dropped my bag of clothes off at Delmart and then walked to the library. http://www.delavan.lib.wi.us/ I returned the audio book. There were multiple CDs for it. After I did that I walked to Sunmist Cafe.  Jessica was working. I ordered a perch dinner. I had decided on this before I found out it was a special. It was a dollar cheaper than list on the menu tonight, bonus. The fish was served with peas. I didn't even touch the peas. I ate it and my tapioca dessert and then left.
I walked to Delmart. I relieved Chad. I showed up a little early so I could get some things done before my shift started. Chad left. I did all the duties and dealt with customers. It was slow. I filled the bottles with water. The bartender from Sports City came in. I found out her name is Sarah. She's pretty hot. Her father had surgery on his nose today.
After I closed the store I waited outside for Nick. While I was waiting some guy on a bicycle asked me if I knew where to get beer. I said Kimberly's. He rode right past it. Nick showed up then and I put my boxes of water in the station wagon. Carly and Corey were with him. I was dropped off first and then Nick dropped Corey off at The Huberdorm.

Number 1654-Mon-Mar.14,2011-1:12 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

I hate it when the clocks move ahead. I moved my clock ahead when I got up in the middle of the night to pee. I had forgotten about it until then.
Chad picked me up. He brought his Saturn. His back seat was full and I had 2 boxes of water bottles and 2 bags with me. I put the boxes on my lap. It was quite crowded.
I was dropped off at Delmart. I relieved Darlene. Steve was there too. Darlene counted out and left. Steve left. I just dealt with customers. I filled the bottles full of water and washed a frying pan. I had made hamburgers in the pan. Nothing too exciting happened. At the very end of my shift Miranda and her friend came in. They hung out until I was finished with my shift. Mandy showed up on time. She always does. Miranda and her friend left. I shot up in the back hallway. I had brought 2 hamburgers from home and I warmed them up in the microwave and ate them behind the counter. I left after that.
I walked to Erica's apt. I took a shower. After I got out of the shower she needed to go to Mi Lindo Guanajuato. She asked if I wanted to go with her. I went. She bought hot sauce and some vegetables. She used her Quest card to pay for it. She bought me a  Jumex strawberry and bananna juice. http://www.jumex.com/index.php/en We walked back to her place. She started to make dinner. I wasn't planning on her doing that but I didn't refuse. She made macaroni and cheese. I ate it and she ate some too. While she was cooking the food I walked back to Mi Lindo Guanajuato and bought four tomatoes, two for her and two for me. I used my Quest card to pay for it. On my way there one of the artists was hanging out in front of Lost Arts Tattoo. http://www.lostarttattoo.com/ I asked him how much it would be for a life sized shoulder holster with a .45 in it. He quoted me some ridiculous price of $500.00. I told him I'd keep it in mind. I'll just let Shawn do it at Fink Ink. http://www.finkinktattoo.com/
After I had eaten the macaroni and cheese I just hung out and watched TV. Erica went to bed early so I left. I walked to Sports City. http://www.myspace.com/vipbargrill I ordered a Corona. There were 4 other guys there besides me and the bartender. I knew two of them. I just sat and drank my Corona. It's the only one I had.
After I was finished I walked to Delmart. I took the trash out for Mandy. I hung out there until she closed. I brought my boxes of water out just before she closed. I had left them there. After she closed I hung out until Nick showed up. He said he'd be there at 11:30 p.m. but didn't show up until 11:50 p.m. Corey didn't work today so he could have taken me home earlier. There was a mix up in planning though. Carly was with Nick when he picked me up.

Number 1652-Sat.-Mar.12,2011-3:11 p.m. C.S.T. (1)

I didn't write a blog last night because I came home and went to bed.
Nick picked me up. Corey was with him. Corey was sitting in the back seat when Nick arrived. I didn't ask why. I was dropped off at Radio Shack. I brought the boxes of water bottles in. I was early but it was the only time I could get a ride. Tara, Ken, and Justin were working. I waited around and talked to Ken and Justin for a while. Tara was on the phone. I filled the bottles with water from the sink in the storage room. Since Iwasn't scheduled to start work for another 4 hrs., I left.
I walked to Panera. I got a large cup of hazelnut coffee and a cherry danish. I cashed in my free coffee and my $1.00 off a danish. I sat at a table and ate the danish. After I was finished I just sat there some more and drank my coffee. I didn't do anything while sitting. I just looked at people. I got up and left after about 30 mins.
I walked to Kohl's. I just looked at jeans and shoes. There were signs posted all over the place saying an extra 15%, 20%, or 30% can be taken off when I used a Kohl's credit card. I went to customer service and applied. It was pretty easy to apply. The woman to whom I spoke there had something wrong with her arm. I attributed that to a stroke or M.S. That's what it looked like at least. I was denied the Kohl's credit card. She said they'll send me a letter explaining it but I don't need to read it.
I walked to Wal-Mart. Terri, my former neighbor was standing outside by the side door. I talked to her for a few mins. She was promoted. She moved out from next door to me when Lisa, one of Jeff's old girlfriends, moved in. Terri is staying with her sister.
I walked around Wal-Mart. After I was finished doing that I walked back to Panera and refilled my coffee. I had brought the cup with me to Kohl's and Wal-Mart. I had left it outside at both places and it was still there both times after I left each store. I walked to Radio Shack after Panera.
I told Tara I could start work early. She said go ahead. Justin had already left. I punched in and started work. I clocked in about 2 hrs. early. I just sold stuff. It was busy. I had to make a new nametag because I lost my old one. Tara left. She walked out to her car and got my carton of cigarettes. She handed them to me as I was by the cell phones talking with a customer.
I shot up in the back room. I walked to Brodie's Beef http://www.brodies-beef.com/ . I had called them earlier and my Italian combo basket was ready when I got there. I ate it there. I had lost my nametag again but on my walk back to Radio Shack I found it on the ground.
I had left my carton of cigarettes on the refrigerator in the back hallway. Ken let a woman use the bathroom. When she left I noticed that the carton was opened and a pack of cigarettes was missing. I was pissed. I thought she had stolen a pack. I later found the missing pack inside the refrigerator. Ken wouldn't do something like that and the only other person in the back was that woman. Why would she do such a thing? I can see playing jokes on people but this one seemed hardly worth the effort. Oh well, I found the pack of cigarettes so it doesn't really matter.
For the rest of the night I just sold stuff. Ken went to lunch. When he returned I went to Wal-Mart's parking lot and got a cart. I brought the cart back and put the full boxes of water in it. Ken got stuck exchanging phones for a customer. That took a while. I took out the trash and vacuumed after they had left. The vacuum handle is still broken.
When the store closed I left through the back door. I pushed my cart to Wal-Mart. Doris was the door greeter. I told her I would just leave it there while I shopped. She said that was cool. I looked for a ride because Nick wouldn't be there until 11:30 p.m. and it was only 9:10p.m. The first person I asked was the girl at Subway. I forget her name. She couldn't do it because she was headed to Clinton right after she got off work. I asked Sally, who is a cashier at Wal-Mart. She said she could do it. I used to serve Sally when I worked at Kelly's. She was crazier back then. I shopped because Sally wasn't off until 10:00 p.m. I checked out through her lane. I was her last customer. It was perfect timing. I used my Quest card to pay for the food I got. I used my check card to pay for the laundry detergent I bought.
Sally punched out. I waited by the door for her to walk back back up. I loaded the boxes and groceries into her car. She drove me home. She said she knows Jim, my step father. She said she brought someone out here to see him when he lived here. He used to live right next door to me when my mother was still alive. Sally said she could give me a ride anytime she's working at Wal-Mart.

Number 1651-Fri-Mar.11,2011-1:19 a.m. C.S.T. (1)

Tara picked me up at the unearthly hour of 7:30 a.m. Had she not done this I wouldn't have had a ride into work until 1:30 p.m. I was scheduled at 9:15 a.m. Tara had a conference call so she had to be in early too. When we got to Radio Shack she brought my insulin in and put it in the refrigerator amd I walked to Wal-Mart.
I walked around Wal-Mart for a while. I went into Subway there and ordered a steak, egg, and cheese on flatbread. I ate it and then walked around Wal-Mart some more. On my way out I bought a Granny Smith apple with my Quest card. I ate it as I walked to Panera. I stood outside of Panera and finished the apple. Iwent inside and bought a large cup of hazelnut coffee when I was finished.
I knocked on the back door of Radio Shack after I left Panera. Andrew let me in. I knocked on the back door because the conference call was in the back room and the store wasn't opened yet. Andrew, Tony, and Tara were at the conference call. I hung out in the back and then opened the store. I turned on the lights, TVs, computers, the Sirius radio, and the scanner. The conference call was still going on.
One of the first customers was a man who returned a power inverter. He wasn't happy because it was bought around Christmas and had stopped working. He was bitching. He bought the same kind. I offered him the service plan but he refused. Had he bought it for the original inverter, it would have been replaced for free. On his way out he pushed the old inverter off the counter and said to throw it away.
The order came. There were supposed to be 20 boxes but there were only 19. I think the last box was buried in the Fed Ex truck. The conference call got over and Andrew left. Tony hung out for a bit but not too long. After they left Tara and I waited a few mins. and then started in on the order. We got that completed quickly and efficiently like we always do. There were four new products but I only had to look up two of them on the planograms. I put them up.
Tara and I just hung out and sold stuff. I put my new availability request in and Tara approved it. I won't be able to come in on Thus. and Fris. until later in the afternoon because Corey won't get picked up until then and Nick doesn't want to make two trips. I didn't sell anything major today.
Ken showed up. All three of us just hung out and sold shit. I clocked out. I walked to Wal-Mart and bought potassium pills, eggs, bacon, orange juice, and milk. I also got one bottle of NPH and one bottle of regular insulin. I used my Quest card to pay for the food. While I was in line for that at the pharmacy I saw Bailey in line too. I haven't seen her in a while. She moved away but now she's back. We talked. She's still as hot and as nice as ever. She broke up with Josh.
I walked back to Radio Shack. Tara was giving me a ride home too. If she wouldn't have I would have had to wait until midnight to get a ride. We had to wait until Jose showed up so Ken wouldn't be left alone otherwise we would have left right then. Jose showed up. He took the A.T.G. I brought up the nights I close and that I'd need a key. All four of use figured out how we're going to play key roulette while Tara is gone. After that Tara drove me home. I forgot to mention that I gave her $50.00 yesterday to get me cigarettes in Illinois.

Corey was off today so when Dan picked me up he was alone. I was dropped off at Radio Shack. I was there 30 mins. early but I thought I was on time. I used that extra time to walk to Wal-Mart and panera. I got a toilet brush, toilet cleaner, and a notebook at Wal-Mart. I need the notebook to record my blood sugar readings. I have been writing them down in an old notebook that's pretty beat up. After I got my stuff at Wal-Mart I walked to Panera. I got a large cup of hazelnut coffee.
I walked back to Radio Shack. Tara was working. I took an A.T.G. It was about small portable electronics and there was only one question on the quiz. After I did that I put the force feed order away. That's all I did. I had a short shift today. I managed to sell a few things though. Ken showed up. Tara left.
I worked right up to Nick's arrival. He showed up and when he did he went to get his check at Domino's. After that he drove me home. I cleaned my toilet when I got inside.

Today was a pretty ordinary day. Nick picked me up. Corey had found another ride to work so he wasn't in the car. I was dropped off at Delmart. I relieved Chad. I did all the duties. It was busier tonight than last night. I filled 12 bottles full of water that I had brought from my house. Craig stopped in. This one with one leg who's pretty cool stopped and talked for a while. I don't know his name. I bought 5 packs of cigarettes. Two I paid cash for and three I put on my check card.
After I closed I waited outside for Nick. I hung out in front of Sports City. I asked Joe Kelemhofer if I ever needed a ride home on a Tue. would he give me one. He said yes. He does the Kareoke there on Tue. nights and would be occupied until at least 1:00 a.m. I don't think I'll ever need a ride from him but it's nice to know he'll give me one if I need it. I'd just hang out at the bar until he was finished with Kareoke. Joe lives right across the way in my trailer park.
Nick finally showed up. Carly and Corey were in the car. I loaded my boxes into the station wagon and got in. Corey was taken to The Huberdorm first and then I was dropped off at home.

Craig picked me up. We went to the post office in Elkhorn to pick up my package. It was my Motorhead t-shirt. I thought it was. After I picked up the package Craig took me to the laundromat in Elkhorn by Frank's. Craig left and said he would be back. I put my laundry in the washing machines. It was crowded and I didn't get machines next to each other but that's ok. After I started the machines I walked to Frank's. I bought fabric softener. When I returned to the laundromat I put it in the machines. I put my laundry in the dryers after it had completed washing. I walked to McDonald's and got a Bacon Angus burger and a side salad. I ate it there. I walked back to the laundromat and took my laundry out of the dryers when they had stopped. I folded what needed to be folded and put my laundry in the bags. Craig wasn't there yet so I walked to Frank's again and bought a case of Coke and a case of Mt. Dew. I also bought some frozen food. I used my Quest card to pay for it.
Craig showed up in Frank's as I was checking out. Jessica was with him. We walked back to his car with me pushing the shopping cart of my stuff. After I loaded that into his car, he was gracious enough to replace the cart for me. As he was doing that I went into the laundromat and got my laundry. I loaded it into his trunk and we left. I was dropped off at home and Craig took Jessica back to her car at his house.
I made my bed and put my laundry away. Craig was expected back in 20 mins. but he was late. I called him. He showed up. I gave him $5.00 for gas. He took me to Erica's house. Before I walked up to Erica's apt. I went to Delavan Deli and paid my debt there. I went to Erica's place. I hung out there for a while and then took a shower. I put on my Motorhead t-shirt. I sat on the couch for a while after that and then left.
I went to Sun Mist Cafe. I sat in my usual spot. Jessica was working, not Craig's girlfriend but another Jessica. I ordered a reuben, just the sandwich. It wasn't too good. I was sorry I had ordered it. Usually the food there is awesome but this wasn't. I don't think I'll ever order a reuben there again. I ate it though. I left the money and the tip on the table and left.
I walked to Delmart. I relieved Blanca. She worked for Chad today but I don't know why. I didn't ask. I counted in and she counted out and left. The night was pretty slow. I did all the duties. Miranda came by but she didn't stay long. I watched TV like I always do.
After I closed I walked to the office. I waited outside for Nick. He showed up after about 15 mins. Carly was with him. Nick went inside the office to get Corey and Carly and I just sat in the car. Nick and Corey came out and smoked cigarettes before they got in the car. They eventually got in and I was driven home. I was dropped off on the road and Nick went to The Huberdorm to drop Corey off.
I'm still taking my blood sugar readings. Those will be happening for a while and they're consistant. I won't be writing about them.

Mandy called and left a messege asking me to work her shift. She said that she could come in for an hour so I could shoot up and eat. She also said she'd give me a ride home. There was a dinner that the rescue squad was having and she would have volunteered to help clean up. I didn't feel like working 11 hrs. today so I called her back and refused.
Dan picked me up. Corey was with him. I was dropped off at Delmart. I relieved Darlene. Steve was there for a few mins. after I arrived but he left shortly. The day was busy. It was just steady from the time I got in until the time I left. I did manage to fill 12 bottles full of water. I also managed to take a blood sugar reading. Mandy showed up on time. She wasn't pissed. I don't know how eagar she was to work at the dinner anyway. I counted out and shot up in the back room. Dan arrived in a few mins. and took me home. Corey was with him and after Dan dropped me off he took Corey back to The Huberdorm.

Blanca left a messege and asked if she could work until 5:00 p.m. today. I agreed and called her back to tell her. Nick picked me up. Corey was with him. I was dropped off at Delmart. Since I had an extra hour I cashed my paycheck from there and went to Los Agaves. I ordered a chinichangs and a quesadilla with beef. I sat at table 4. I normally sit at table 3 but it was taken by some woman and her son. The food was good.
I walked across the street to Delmart after I finished eating. Blanca counted out and I started my shift. It was slow at first. I filled the 12 bottles of water I had brought and dropped off there before I went to Los Agaves. I also washed a frying pan that I had brought from home. I did all the duties. It got busier as the night wore on. Nothing too exciting happened. A couple of cops hung out for a while and played the lottery. I watched "Beyond Scared Straight" for most of the night. I also took a blood sugar reading at around 8:00 p.m.
After I closed I waited outside for Nick. He eventually showed up. Corey and Carly were in the car. I loaded the boxes of water and got in. Nick took Corey back to The Huberdorm and then dropped me off at home.

Number 1645-Sat.-Mar.5,2011-1:52 a.m. C.S.T. (1)

I walked to the road to meet Nick. He picked me up. Corey was with him. I was dropped off at Radio Shack. Tara was working. The morning was slow at first. I didn't do too much. All of a sudden we got busy. It was like a bus had dropped people off outside the door. One guy couldn't get his Virgin phone to work. He never entered the PIN. Another guy got a Go Phone and Tara was on the phone with AT&T for about an hour trying to get it to work. The guy ported a number from T-Moble and there were problems. Other than these fucks the morning wasn't too eventful.
The day was slow but I did sell some big ticket items. I sold two G.P.S.s and an Evo. One of my Boost phones that I sold yesterday came back. The woman couldn't figure it out. One of the G.P.S.s that I sold was for a Chinese woman. Her major concern was that it spoke or at least read in Chinese. There are a few variations of Chinese but I told her it was available on the Garmin Nuvi 1450T. https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=134&pID=63932 I'm not absolutely certain it is though.
Ken showed up. Justin showed up. Tara left. I punched out for lunch and went to China 1. http://www.china1us.com/ I ordered the shrimp and broccoli lunch special. I ate it there. I walked back to Radio Shack.
Justin fell ill. He said he was experiencing flu like symptoms. He called Jose and Jose agreed to come in at 5:00 p.m. I was leaving at 4:30 p.m. Justin left right after he called Jose. He called Tara too and told her the plan. I sold the Evo just before I left.
I punched out a few mins. early and left. Ken can handle it alone. I walked to Wal-Mart. It was raining. I went to the pharmacy and was going to buy strips for my Reli On Ultima glucometer. They were sold out the quantity I wanted. I bought a blue Reli On Confirm glucomter and the strips to go along with it.  http://www.relion.com/diabetes/confirm I bought the most quantity of strips available. It's cheaper that way. I also bought a pair of shoelaces. The ones on my shoes almost broke this morning.
I checked out. I waited for Dan. I sat on the bench. Some guy of about 75 yrs. og age sat down on the bench too. It was raining out and we started talking. He said that he saw some guy hit by lightning right before his eyes years ago. That person died. I walked outside and Dan showed up. Corey was with him. He drove me home. I got dropped off by the mailboxes to check my mail but there was none.

Number 1644-Fri.-Mar.4,2011-12:09 a.m. C.S.T. (1)

I called Dr. Osbourne's office to see about getting my license. Jaunita told me the same thing. I have to record my blood sugars four times a day for a month and then make an appt. I guess I'll start to do that.
I walked to the road to meet Nick. He was running late. He picked me up. Corey was with him. I was dropped off at Radio Shack. Ken was working when I got there. Tara was working too but she was conducting an interview. I think the guy's name is Matt but I'm not sure. Justin was working too but he was out to lunch. He returned a few mins. after I got there.
It was steady. I worked on a planogram. I did the iPhone wall. I completed that and then just hung out and sold stuff. Justin and Ken worked on planograms too. Tara was on a conference call in back most of the afternoon.
I shot up in the back hallway. Tara was busy in the back room with the conference call and I didn't want to disturb her. After I shot up I punched out for lunch and walked to Wal-Mart. I withdrew money for rent from my bank. The money I withdrew also paid for my food. I ate at Subway in Wal-Mart. I had a 12" buffalo chicken meal.
I walked back to Radio Shack after I had eaten. Justin and Tara had left while I was gone.
Ken and I just hung out and sold stuff for the rest of the night. I did the music accessories wall according to the planogram. I went to Culver's and bought Ken a Cement Mixer and I got one for myself. He got a chocolate one with brownie pieces and caramel and I got a vanilla one with marshmellow topping, whipped cream, and peacans. Culver's raised the price of their medium Cement Mixers by 29 cents since the last time I bought one. I walked back to Radio Shack with the Cement Mixers. Ken took the code of ethics A.T.G. Towards closing time Craig showed up. He stuck around until we closed.
After we closed Craig drove me to Wal-Mart. I got a money order for rent and filled it out at the counter. I had brought an envelope for the money order and I used it. I then went by the pharmacy and bought some exprctorant and cough pills. Craig bough fish oil. We checked out and Craig drove me home. He dropped me off by the mailboxes and I dropped the rent envelope in the rent box.

Number 1643-Thu.-Mar.3,2011-2:39 a.m. C.S.T. (1)

Dan picked me up. Corey was off today. I was dropped off at Radio Shack. I brought the boxes of empty water bottles in and then walked to Panera and got a large cup of hazelnut coffee. I walked back to Radio Shack. Tara was working. There was a new A.T.G. about the code of ethics for Radio Shack. It was the same one I took last year. It's a yearly thing. The A.T.G. hasn't been updated since 2007. The A.T.G. was basically about the business procedures at the store and corporate level. It just said that Radio Shack doesn't discriminate, follows all anti-trust laws, and upholds fair business practices. It also said that employees should conduct themselves if a fair and ethical way. It outlined the resposibilities of knowing inside stock prices and other confidential information and the obligation to report interior theft and misconduct. It was just general integritous actions that everyone should do anyway. The questions on the quiz were the same as last year. I even remembered one question from last year. It said, "You hear a funny but possibly offensive joke on the radio on the way to work. What do you do?" The other questions were like that too. I think I wrote a blog about this last year. I'm sure I'll write about it again next year, if I'm still at Radio Shack. I printed out the Code Of Ethics manual for Radio Shack. It's like a book.
After I was finished with the A.T.G. I started the price audit. Tara had completed the gondolas and I started on the east perimeter by the MP3 players. I completed through two panels of the power and battery section. Justin showed up. Tara left. Before she left she took the A.T.G. too. Justin did the same when he arrived. He was a few minutes late today. An order arrived but they come almost every day I'm there. It was only four boxes. I don't even know what was in them. I filled the bottles with water from the sink in the storage room. I wiped the sink out and replaced the items that were in the sink. The sink is more or less used a storage area than a sink.
Other than taking the A.T.G. and doing the price audit, I sold stuff. The Dish Network rep., I think her name is Kiera but I'm not sure, showed up. She showed up right when I was about to shoot up. I went in the back room while she was there and shot up. I then punched out for lunch and walked to Wal-Mart. I got 2 chimichangas and a 20oz Mt. Dew. I used my Quest card to pay for it. I walked back to Radio Shack and cooked the chimichangas in the microwave and ate them in the back hallway. While they were cooking I came out onto the sales floor and spoke with Kiera. I learned a contract isn't needed to subscribe to Dish Network. The monthly fee is more if no contract is signed, of course. Kiera left and I ate the chimichangas. I punched back in.
I didn't close and after I ate it was almost time for me to leave. Jose showed up. I just pretty much hung out until it was time for me to punch out. When I did punch out it took Nick forever to get there. I punched out at 6:00 p.m. and he didn't arrive until 7:00 p.m. I just hung out until he got there. When he did arrive I put the boxes of water in the station wagon and left. He drove me home.

Immediately after I posted my previous blog I went on my bank's website to check my checking account balance. It's a good thing I did. I was going to withdraw $20.00 from the A.T.M. at Delmart but I didn't have enough in my account. I was going to use that money to pat Delavan Dele but they can wait.
After I left the library I walked back to Erica's house. I just hung around for a while and then I took a shower. I shot up and left. I walked to Delmart and dropped off my bag of clothes and my towel. I walked to Sun Mist Cafe. Jessica was working. She's always working when I go in there on Mon. or Tue. night. I sat in my usual spot. I ordered spaghetti. I usually don't order things that I can make at home but I was really in the mood for spaghetti. I got vegetable barley soup with that. The spaghetti pretty much tasted like how I would make it at home. In fact I think I could make it better at home. I ate my tapioca pudding after the spaghetti and left. I used my check card to pay. Luckily the bill wasn't over $20.00.
I smoked a cigarette on the street and then walked to Delmart. I relieved Chad. It was a steady night but not too busy. I did all the duties. I watched TV. I watched "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader", "Don't Forget The Lyrics", and some National Geographic program on prison gangs. Nothing too exciting happened at work. It hardly ever does. Working at Delmart is just repetition. There's different things to do at Radio Shack.
After I closed the store I walked to the office. I waited outside the locked building. I smoked a cigarette. Nick and Carly walked up from behind the building. We went inside and got Corey. I was dropped off by the mailboxes in my park.

Number 1641-Tue.-Mar.1,2011-2:53 p.m. C.S.T. (1)

I walked out to the road to meet Nick. He picked me up. Corey was with him. I was dropped off at Delmart. I relieved Chad. The night was pretty slow. I did all the duties. Nothing too exciting happened. I relaized that I had forgotten my insulin so I called Nick and he said he would pick it up tomorrow.
After I closed the store I walked over to Erica's Erica and Brad were there. I took a shower. All of us hung out for a while and watched TV until we went to bed. Erica slept in Brad's room, which is fine by be.
When I woke up at abou noon Brad had already left. I brushed my teeth. I walked to the office.Nick wasn't there but Dan was. He was on the phone so I waited outside the locked door to the office until he was finished with his call. I knocked when he was finished and he let me in. I asked if Nick had brought mt insulin there and he hadn't. Dan called Nick. Nick said he would pick up my insulin when he picked up Corey later. I thought that would bee too late. I walked to Delavan Dele and ordered a pastrami sandwich. I got two Mt. Dews too, one for me and one for Erica. When I tried to pay they said that didn't take credit cards. It was all I had. They gave me the sandwich and drinks on the promise of me paying later. I walked back to Erica's and ate the sandwich and gave her the Mt. Dew.
I left and went to The Smoke Shop. I got the idea that David or Erin could give me a ride to my house so I could pick up my insulin. David did exactly that. I tanked him. When we got back to The Smoke Shop I bought a can of Zippo lighter fluid. Erica bought herself a Zippo for her birthday. Since I had forgotten about her birthday I figured getting the fluid was the least I could do.
After I left The Smoke Shop I walked to the office. Nick was there. He was on the phone. I showed him the insulin I had gotten. He asked me to wait until I was off the phone. I did. After he was off the phone we went to Elizabeth's Cafe. He ordered a cheeseburger. I got a Mt. Dew. I paid for it all after he was finished. We went to Delmart and he got a pack of Camels and I put it on my tab.
I'm now at the library writing this blog. I like to write a blog every day. I'm not at my house so the library is the only means available to me at the moment.
