Number 1659-Sat.-Mar,19,2011-1:23 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

It's officially the anniversary of Randy Rhodes' death. He was the best guitarist ever. He would have been venerated beyond belief had he lived. I think about this every Mar.19.
Craig picked me up. I was dropped off at Radio Shack. I didn't start until 12:30 p.m. and Craig picked me up at 11:00 a.m. I didn't go in immediately. I walked to Panera and got a large cup of hazelnut coffee. I walked back to Radio Shack. I went inside. Justin was working. T ara was there too but she was in back with Bob, a manager from another store, setting up the new P.O.S. She wasn't expected to be in the store until tomorrow.
I talked to Justin for a while and then left. I walked to Wal-Mart. I bought a t-shirt that says, "Born Lucky". It was $5.00 yesterday but only $2.50 today because it's after St. Patrick's Day. The shirt is green. I also bought hydrogen peroxide, toothbrushes, and a chef's kinfe. The knife's edge is serrated. I got 2 bottles of NPH insulin too.
I walked back to Radio Shack. Tara had already left. I was still early so I just hung out until it was time to punch in. After I punched in I opened boxes of the order that came in. It was all cell phones. Justin checked them in and put them away. Justin and I were debating on whether or not to do the laptop planogram. It's set up where it makes selling certain laptops more difficult because they're not displayed. We decided to hold off and talk with Tara about it. We didn't do too much after that. We just sold stuff and not too much. It was slow during the day.
Jose showed up. There were 3 people on duty and no business. It got a little busier as the night wore on. A woman came in because she couldn't send texts out of her Blackberry. I touched a couple of button but don't know which ones. It fixed the problem. She thought I was a genius and so did Jose. I don't even know what I touched.
I shot up in the back room when it was time and then walked to Subway. I went to the one in the strip mall not the one in Wal-Mart. I ordered a Philly Steak and cheese meal. I ate it there. When I returned to Radio Shack Justin had already left.
The night was much busier. Frank, a guy I've known for over 20 yrs., came in and bought a Sirius radio and a home kit. His friend actually bought it but I don't know his friend's name. After they left this woman was having trouble with her phone. She couldn't remember the pattern to her password. We suggested a hard reset but she tried other methods. She got on one of our displayed laptops and got into her Google account. She was short so I let her stand on the stepstool ladder. She had her friend with her. They were both hot. They had 3 kids with them aged 4, 9, and 13. The smaller kids were running around while the one woman worked on the computer. Jose went to lunch. There was nobody else in the store for almost the entire duration of her task. A man came in to pay a bill toward the end. The woman was successful in accomplishing her goal. It took her a while but she was very happy. We didn't have to do a hard reset. If we had done that everything would have been erased from her phone. A hard reset sets the phone back to the day it was taken out of the box. While she was working to get into her phone she said she would hump everyone in the store if she was successful. She wasn't true to her word.
Jose returned shortly after the group left. I walked to Panera and refilled my coffee. Culver's and bought a medium marshmellow Cement Mixer with whipped cream, brownie pieces, and peacans. I walked back to Radio Shack. I had about 2 bites out of the Cement Mixer before it got all crazy. Frank and his friend returned because they couldn't get the radio to work. They returned it. That sucks because it was a larger sale and I got a service plan on the radio. After they left the store got super busy. It was the last 45 mins. and people just came in after a day of nonactivity. I hate that. I did sell a Boost Blackberry phone though. After I did that I called all the stores and got their numbers. I e-mailed the numbers to the Gurnee Mills store. I printed the reports. Jose vacuumed while I printed the reports. He also dealt with the last of the customers while I collected the numbers. He and I were out about 10 mins. late due to the customers and the final duties.
Jose left through the back door. I still had my coffee and Cement Mixer. The Cement Mixer had melted. I entered my code and was about to leave through the front door. Jose had locked it. My hand were full with my Wal-Mart stuff, The Cement Mixer, and my coffee. The alarm was in it's countdown to exit. I set my coffee and Cement Mixer on the table next to the front door. I knocked off the cement mixer onto the floor. It landed on the hard floor instead of the carpet. The alarm had about 15 seconds left before it sounded. I had no time to clean up the mess and I didn't want to fuck with the alarm to disengage it or excede the time. I left and locked the door. Craig was waiting for me. He was there since before closing time.
I got in Craig's car and we went to Delmart. I went inside while Craig waited in the car. I cashed my check. I was delayed by talking with Gail and Blanca. Gail was there buying something and Blanca was working. I gave Craig $5.00 when I got back in his car and he drove me home. I was let off by the mailboxes upon my request. I checked my mail but there was nothing important in my mailbox.
I considered calling Tara when I got in my house to tell her about the Cement Mixer spill. I also came home with a magnetic security key. I was going to call her but I couldn't find her number. It was late anyway.
I tried to sleep for a little bit but Lisa was outside of Jeff's trailer talking on her cell phone. My walls are thin and I could hear every word she was saying. After a while I went out there to ask her to keep it down. I figured I better start now before this becomes a problem. She was all apologetic and said she would go inside. I said there was no problem. I didn't go back to my nap when I got inside. I started writing this blog.
