Craig was supposed to pick me up at 10:15 a.m. At 10:20 a.m. I called him, no answer. I continuously called him for about 2 mins., no answer. I called his house and his mother answered and said he went to work. Upon hearing this I walked down to Kim D's. trailer. I knocked on her door and she answered. I asked her if she could give me a ride to work. She said yes. I walked back to my house to get the empty bottles and then walked back to Kim D's place. As I was waiting for her to get ready Craig drove in the park. He saw me standing on Kim D's. porch. He stopped. I knocked on the door, opened it, and told Kim D my ride had shown up. Craig drove me to Radio Shack.
Ken was working when I got there. It was only 10:44 a.m. I thought it was later. I dropped my boxes off and walked to Wal-Mart. I deposited some money into my bank account there. I then walked to Panera and bought a large cup of hazelnut coffe. When I got back to Radio Shack the new P.O.S. was giving me problems right away. The new P.O.S. started on Tue. I couldn't figure out how to punch in. It took Ken a while to help me. He couldn't readilt figure it out either. I finally punched in at 11:18 a.m. I was there on time at 11:00 a.m. I made my decision right there that I would try to avoid ringing up as many customers as I could today.
I started putting the force feed order away. Ken had already been doing that. I continued with that for most of the day. I did have to ring up a few customers but I muddled throught it. I got all of the force feed order away except for the new stuff. We couldn't get price tags for it because the internet was down. I figured I'd let Jose do it later since that was pretty much the only thing he had to do.
I walked over to Domino's to get three twenty ounce root beers. Dave was there and asked me questions about a cell phone. James was there too and he said he had extra food and asked if I wanted it for free. Serendipity does work in my favor at times. I asked both Dave and james if they wamted it and they both declined. I gladly accepted the food. It was an order of boneless chicken pieces. Dave asked me what sauce I wanted and I decided on the habenaro mango. I walked back to Radio Shack with my drinks and food. I ate the chicken pieces right away in the back hallway. That habenaro mango sauce was the best sauce I have ever tasted with chicken pieces. I want to put that shit on everything that I eat. It was the first time I had it. I drank a root beer too. I knew this would send my blood sugar through the roof.
I filled the bottles with water from the sink in the storage room. Jose showed up while I was doing this. Ken was going to show me how to do the deposit on the new P.O.S. but there was a glitch. It seems like the whole system went down on the bank completion page. I went in back to shoot up and told Ken I'd learn another day.
I shot up in the back room. Before I did that I called China 1 and put in an order for a shrimp egg foo yung all day special. I walked over there and ate it there. It was quite busy there today. I walked back to Radio Shack and punched back in from lunch. I had no problem punching in and out for lunch. Ken left while I was gone. Jose told me that Ken never could get into the bank deposit page. Ken just did a manual deposit today.
The rest of the night was pretty slow. I still avoided customers as much as possible. I did ring up a few. The system said my password was invalid once. Jose and I figured out how to change it. After I changed it there were no problems. Jose put up the new items and I put up the clearance and sale tags. Craig showed up a few mins. early and I loaded the boxes of water bottles into his car. He had his guitar strwn across the back seat so he moved that to accomodate the boxes. He put the guitar on the back floor, propped up against the back rests of the front seat. I walked back in and punched out. Justin had left me his keys and I got them. I'll return them to him tomorrow. I entered my code into the alarm, locked the door, and left. Craig drove me home.
