Number 1702-Sat.-Apr.30,2011-1:37 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

I had to talk Rob into my trailer park. I was on his cell phone with him until he turned in. He gave me a ride to Wal-Mart. I cashed my Delmart check there and withdrew more money to suppliment my rent payment. I went to the service desk and got a money order for my rent. I filled out the money order and enveloped it at the counter. I brought an envelope from home. After I left I was going to walk to Panera to get a cup of hazelnut coffe but my Zippo wouldn't light my cigarette. I thought it was out of fluid because Zippos will light in in the wind. I know. I've done it. I walked back into Wal-Mart and bought a 2 pack of Bic lighters. There wasn't enough time to go to Panera so I just walked to Radio Shack. It was a beautiful day out today, sunny and 65 degrees F.

Heather had just gotten to Radio Shack when I did. We walked in together. It would have seemed like she had given me a ride. Our arrival was that coincidental. Richard was there. Tony was there. I punched in and worked the sales floor while Tony prepared for the interview with Heather. Richard was in the back room writing Tony's evaluation so Heather's interview started later than scheduled, about 20 mins. later. Just before Heather went in the back room for her interview, some guy named Ryan came in. He was interested in a cell phone. He had applied to Sprint about 2 years ago but his account hadn't been cleared yet. I called Sprint to clear it. Tony called too after I got no result. I called Sprint again after Tony got no result. This time Ryan's account was cleared and he was approved for 3 lines. He wanted to get 2 cell phones, one for him and one for his girlfriend. I set those up. Ryan had to leave to get his state ID but he returned in about 20 mins. Richard came out and convinced Ryan to get a 3rd cell phone for his mother. I set that one up too. Ryan chose a grey Optimus and two purple Optimi were chosen for the women. http://shop.sprint.com/mysprint/shop/phone_details.jsp?prodId=dvc2260014prd&deviceSKUId=22400107&flow=AAL&planSKUId=null&tabId=dt_phones&ptn=
I had a triple new account cell phone sale on one ticket. That's like hitting a trifecta on a $100.00 bet at Radio Shack. They didn't have much money with them so the only accessory they got was screen protectors. I ran Ryan and his girlfriend for a Radio Shack credit card but neither were approved. Richard bitched to Tony about the lack of accessories on the sale but there's really nothing I could do. The shit ran downstream and Tony talked to me about it but he was just relaying Richard's messege. Richard didn't stick around long enough to talk to me. He went to the Lake Geneva store as soon as Heather's and Rob's interview was over. Nathan called me from there to get numbers and he said that Richard was giving me accolades there. He was bitching to Tony and then exalting me at another store, WTF??
After Heather's interview Rob came in for his interview. That didn't take too long. Heather was in like Flynn from the day she filled out her application. We went through the motions with Rob because he gave me a ride today. Rob had been walking around the strip mall and he said he was playing games at Game Stop from the time he dropped me off until the time he came in for his interview. Richard left after the interviews were over. I was still setting up the 3 cell phones for Ryan.
The rest of the day was steady. Jose showed up. Tony went to lunch. Tony returned from lunch. I sold a Blackberry for Boost but there was an E.S.N. swap on it so I didn't get any SPIFF. I shot up in the back room. I punched out for lunch and walked to Subway. On my walk to Subway I have to cross an exit road from Wal-Mart. It's a one way road. A police car with its lights on drove over the median on Hwy. 50 and came in the wrong way on the exit road. He was doing about 35 m.p.h. and the speed limit there is 10 m.p.h. This happened right in front of me. Had I walked into the road when I had planned to and not seen or heard the cop car, I would have been killed. The cop has the sirens on so I had to deal with the loud noise 5 ft. away from. I hate that.
I ordered the same sandwich today that I ordered yesterday. It was that good. I got the meal. Stream wasn't working. She had already left. The woman who was working likes me, a lot, too much. She always smiles when she sees me, always says hi, and always makes conversation with me. I just ordered my sandwich and ate the meal there.
I walked back to Radio Shack and punched in from lunch. Tony left. The rest of the night was slow except for Jose selling two new lines to one customer. The guy got two Rumor Touches, one for him and one for his girlfriend. They're both purple. He wanted a blue one but we didn't have any. His girlfriend kept giving him shit about the color, essentially saying it was feminine. She was a piece of work. She was lous, pushy, and obnoxious. I don't know what this guy sees in her. She's no beaty queen either. Her daughter came in and she was far more classy than her mother. Everytime her mother said something crass, the daughter would look at me as if to apolgize for her behavior. This happened frequently. The guy did this a few times too. The woman was oblivious to this.

The rest of the night was slow. I sat in the back room for a while. I closed the store and walked to Wal-Mart. I forgot to give Jose my keys but he has a key now so I think it'll be ok. At Wal-Mart I talked to Melody at her register. I asked her for a ride and she agreed. Heather came by me. She asked if Tony and Richard said anything. I told her she was in. I also advised her to get black shoes and a grey polo. She said she'll try to scrounge up the money for that.
I shopped. I bought all sorts of shit. I can't list everything I bought. The list is too long. I bought food and toiletries mostly. I couldn't check out at Melody's register because she was in a 20 items or less lane. After I checked out I waited by the bench for her. Some woman was already sitting on the bench and she was fat so I didn't bother to share it with her. I talked to the door greeter, Dawn. I went outside to smoke a cigarette. I went back in and waited for Melody. She got off work and I loaded my stuff into her car. Her caf is full of shit. I could barely get all my shit in her car. It's like she lives in there. I'm lucky I didn't have my water bottles with me. She had to pull her car out of its stall because she was parked right next to a crub and there wasn't room for me to accomodate the cart. She drove me home. She helped unload my stuff. I went inside and came back out with a flashlight. I wanted to make sure I didn't leave any bags and that nothing fell out. Her interior light doesn't work.

Number 1701-Fri.-Apr.29,2011-3:50 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

I walked  to Kim D's.trailer. I asked her if  she could  give me a ride tomorrow. She said she couldn't because she has a long work day. I asked if Gearge could give me a ride. She said she would talk with him and find out. She said she would call me at work. I walked back to my trailer.
Dan picked me up. Corey was with him. I was dropped off at Wal-Mart. I went to my bank there and withdrew $50.00. Melody was next to me at the bank and we talked for a moment after we were finished. She said she was therre last night but was in the back doing computer work. I walked to Panera. I got a large cup of hazelnut coffee. The cup cost $1.99 and I paid $2.00. I motioned that I didn't want the change. The woman behind the counter asked what I wanted to do with the 1 cent change. I asked if there was any organized charity I could donate to. She pointed to a charity box collecting change on the counter. I said to donate to that and I assume she did. I didn't see her put the penny in though. I don't even know what charity it represented. I got my coffee and walked to Radio Shack.
Tony was working. For the beginning part of my shift I didn't do much. Tony sold 2 iPhones. The woman was already getting one but the nam had to be convinced. They were both iPhone 3GS 8Gs. http://www.apple.com/iphone/iphone-3gs/ He transferred the contacts on both. The contacts were easier to transfer on these phones because he did it electronically.
After he sold the iPhones I started to put away the order. I didn't get very far because of customers. I gave Tony the $50.00 for a carton of cigarettes. The'te cheaper in Illimois and he lives there. Some guy came in and said Social Distortion is playing at The Rave on May 7. I asked him if he was going and he said yes. I asked if he would take and he said yes. Hopefully it'll work out. I know him from back in the day but I don'y remember his name. The last two times I saw Social Distortion I got kicked out for being body passed. At least one of times it was a free show for me so I wasn't as upset as I would have been if I paid for it.

I shot up in the back room I punched out for lunch. I walked to Subway. Stream was working and so was the guy I saw at the Subway at Wal-Mart last night. I ordered a 12" teriyaki chicken sandwish meal. I asked if it was free cookie Thursday and Stream would have given me one but free cookies are really on a different day. I didn't accept the cookie. I ate the food there and Stream and I talked. It was nice to talk with her. She's cool and nice and she and I used to work together about 18 yrs. ago at a gas station/ Subway. I walked back to Radio Shack after I was finished eating.
Tony and I busted out the order when I got back. I also put the bottles of water into Tony's car. I had filled the bottles yesterdaybut left them at Radio Shack until tonight.  We put the order away and I created the price tags for the new shit. Not only did I create the tags for the new stuff in the order today, but I also created the tags for the display of the new planogram Tony created yesterday. It took until almost closing to do this.
Tony said Kim D. stopped by while I was at Subway. He said that George couldn't give me a ride but she could if I go to her trailer. I called Rob to see if he could give me a ride because I'd have to get a ride from Kim D. 2 hrs before I had to be at work. I figured I could sleep id Rob could give me a ride. He said he could.
I vacuummed and took out the trash. I threw away the old vacuum tonight. It had been sitting in the back hallway in the vacuum box ever since we had gotten the new vacuum until tonight. Tony was going to send it back and get $25.00 but he never did. I threw it away tonight because Richard, the distrct manager, is coming tomorrow. After I threw away the vacuum, I swept the back hallway.
We closed the store and Tony and I went to Radio Shack's and dropped the deposit. We went to Delmart after that and I picked up my paycheck from there. Tony drove me home after that.
I walked to Kim D's. trailer. I talked with her and told her I had a ride tomorrow.

Number 1700-Thu.-Apr.28,2011-1:48 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

Chad picked me up. For a time I thought he had forgotten because his cell phone wasn't answered. I called his home phone and Kim B. answered. She said he was on his way. She said his cell phone was in the closet.
I was dropped off at Radio Shack. I brought 2 boxes of empty water bottles inside. Tony was working. After I put the boxes in the back hallway I walked to Wal-Mart. I bought hydrogen peroxide, foot cream, and Listerine. I bought one large bottle and one small bottle of hydrogen peroxide and a small bottle of Listerine. I'm going to take the small bottles to Erica's the next time I go over there. I also got 2 bottles of NPH.
I walked to Panera. I got a large cup of hazelnut coffee and a cobblestone muffin. Aiesha was there. She just got back from California yesterday. She was at the counter placing her order and I realized it was her when she turned and I was still in line. I hugged her and welcomed her back. I asked if she was going to sit down inside and she said yes but that she was going to talk with someone. That was ok by me. I sat at a table and ate the muffin and drank my coffee. After I finished the muffin I filled my cup again and left. I saw Aiesha talking to some woman. I think she was being interviewed for a job there.
I walked back to Radio Shack. Tony said that I could have a cell phone sale. I didn't argue with him. The guy came in right away. Tony had already spoken with him. I sold the phone. Tony transferred the guy's contacts from his old phone to his new phone. He did this manually one by one. The guy had 12 contacts.
After the guy left I just helped customers. I filled the bottles with water.  I took two A.T.G.s. One was on the new dervice plans for cell phones. There is a variety of options now. Radio Shack's new service plans for cell phones can cover everything except loss, theft, or purposeful damage. Let's be real though. Who in his/her right mind would say he/she took a hammer to his/her cell phone even if that was the case. The other A.T.G. was on cameras. I had to take both more than once because I didn't pass the quiz on either the first time.
After I finshed the A.T.G.s I hung around the sales floor and helped customers. Tony worked on planograms. We have a cascading display now. It looks ok but it hold less stock. The whole store is going to be rearranged. Tony continued to do this throughout the day.
Ken showed up. Tony went to lunch. Tony returned from lunch. I shot up in the back room. I called China 1 and placed my order. I punched out for lunch and walked there. I ate my shrimp with lobster sauce all day special there. It was ok but it wasn't spectacular. Perhaps my expectations were too high.
I walked back to Radio Shack. Tony left. Ken and I helped customers for the rest of the night. It was steady. A woman came in because her FM transmitter stopped working. We gave her another one of the same brand and model. She returned within a minute and said it didn't work. We pulled the last one off the shelf and tested it in the store before we gave it to her. It didn't work. All of us thought it was rather amazing that 3 of the same thing didn't work. We refunded her money.
I called Heather at Delmart. I asked her if she could give me a ride Fri. She said she doesn't trust her car to travel farther than she has to. I get her an interview at Radio Shack, schedule her interview to coincide with my start time, and she can't give me a ride to work. Some people are unbelievable. John Finley came in and I asked him if he could give me a ride on Fri. He said to call him on Thu. night and gave me his number.
After we closed the store Ken gave me his keys. I walked to Wal-Mart. I looked for Nicole at Subway. She wasn't there. I looked for Melody or Sally on the registers. Neither were there. I saw Luis and asked him if Sally or Melody were working. He said Melody was working but she was in back. I asked if she was going to work the register before she went home. He said yes. I walked away from him at the service counter and saw Paula. Paula used to own Sugar Creek Pantry. I used to deliver newspapers there every day. I asked her if she could give me a ride home. She said yes but she didn't get off until 11:00 p.m. It was now 9:10 p.m. I told her that I would look for another ride but if I was sitting at the bench at 11:00 p.m. I'd need a ride. She said that was a good plan. I went to the bench and sat down. I sat there for about an hour. Melody never came to a register. I was hoping she would. I didn't see anybody that could give me a ride.
I got a cart and started shopping. As I was shopping I saw Dawn. I didn't remember her name when I first saw her but she told me it. I knew Dawn about 20 yrs. ago. We used to hang out. We talked in the aisle for a few mins. Eventually I asked if she could give me a ride home. She said yes but she needed to finish shopping. I said that was fine because I had to too. When I checked out my check card wasn't approved. I used the remainder of my Quest card and tried running my check card again. Once again it was denied. I walked to the A.T.M. to check my balance. It said that my pending charges hadn't been cleared yet. It didn't say that but I figured ir out from my balance. I put a case of Coke, butter, and some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups back and then ran my check card. It was approved then. I bought crunchy peanut butter, a gallon of 2% milk, and a loaf of white bread. I went outside to smoke a cigarette and wait for Dawn. I decided I wanted the butter so I went back in and asked the woman if she returned it yet. She hadn't and I bought the butter. I went back outside and smoked a cigarette and waited for Dawn. Rob, a guy who applied at Radio Shack and was there earlier today, came out. He said he was going my way and asked if I needed a ride. I told him I already had one but I might need one on Fri. I asked if I could get his number from his application and he said yes. I told him I'd call him.
Dawn came by the Red Box DVD machine and I told her I was outside. She was going to get a movie but the machine was out of order. We left. I took her cart and mine to the cart corral after she finished loading her groceries. She drove me home. It was cool to see her. We talked about old times. She had to drive around the entire park because she missed the U-turn inside the park. It's her birthday in less than a week. She said she's going out. She said she has a boyfriend but they've only been together for a month. I gave her my number and she said she'll probably call. We'll see.
I went through all the episodes of "Soap" on Crackle tonight. Well not all the episodes in one night but I completed them tonight. I found a link where I can watch season 3. It's: http://tvshowsonline24.com/watch/Soap-season-3-episode-1 "Soap" is the funniest TV show ever, except maybe for "Police Squad". http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Police+Squad&aq=f

Number 1699-Wed.-Apr.27,2011-2:17 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

   It's my gradmother's birthday today.
Nick came in my house when he showed up today. I didn't even know he was here. He said we could start on that elaborate plumbing plan after they're finished putting all the pipes in the park I have no idea when that will be. We exited my trailer and got in his station wagon. Corey 1 was in the car. Since I hardly ever see Corey 2 I'll just refer to Corey 1 as Corey.
Nick drove to Delmart and parked the car in the alley. All other spaces were taken. Corey wanted to get something. I went inside too. I washed a dirty dish that I brought. Brian was there filling out some paper but I don't know what it was. I didn't ask. Chad was working the register but had to move his car because it was impeding the gas delivery truck. I worked the register while he moved his car. I was on the register less than 5 mins. It was merely serendipity that I was even there and could work the register at that time. Corey and Nick and Brian had long since gone. There was some sales rep. milling around the back while Chad was outside but I don't know who he was. I left when Chad came back inside.
I went to Things Remembered. I bought a cup of butter peacan Americano after Lori had explained the differnence betweem latte, Americano, expresso, and cappuccino. I still don't know the difference.
I walked to The Smoke Shop after that. Erin and Dave were there I bought two more of the cigarette cases I bought yesterday. Whrn I first said I was there to buy more cigartette cases, Dave randonly waved his hand around aand said he has all kinds of cases. He does. I zoomed in on the kind I bought yesterdat. I bought a green one and a blue one. Yesterday I bought a black one. Erin told Dave to fix their machine. It was a simple fix. The rubber grommet on the side of the injection cylinder that holds the tube in place when the tube is injected with the tobacco was missing. Erin blamed Tom at first. Tom was there by me yesterday but the machine malfunctioned before Tom came by me. It was about 3:00 p.m. when I was there yesterday and Tom was drunk. Hesmellled like alcohol. I asked what the name of his cologne was. He said Jack Daniel's. Even though I don't like Tom very much when he's drunk I said he couldn't have taken the grommet. There was nobody else by me yesterday. I think the grommet fell off but to sift through all the tobacco that's on the table where their machine is isn't worth it. Dave just put a new grommet on. He said it costs him 60 cents. I didn't want them thinking I took it. They never suggested that but I was the primary suspect. I was the last one using their machine. I was about to walk out the door but then I turned around and offered Dave 60 cents. He chuckled, refused, and said it was no big deal and he didn't think I took it. I left and went to Erica's apt.
Erica was home. All I did was roll cigarettes. I used my tobacco that was there and my tubes. I was in a generous mood so I asked Erica what type of tobacco she wanted and what kind of tubes. She said she wanted full flavor Golden Leaf tobacco and Premier full flavor nonmenthol tubes. I walked downstairs back to The Smoke Shop and bought the tobacco and a box of Top full flavor tubes. I bought Top because I already and at least 75% of Premier tubes upstairs at her apt. and I figured I would try Top tubes and give her the Premiers. Top is more expensive than Premier but I don't know why. I thought all tubes were the same but I'm not certain if that's true. There were variation that I discovered whilee using the Top tubes. I paid for my stuff, well Erica's stuff and walked back upstairs. Luckily Erica's apt. and The Somke Shop are on the same block.
Erica owns an orange rectangular Gambler injection machine. It works well. It works just as well as a Topomatic. Erica said the Gambler machine comes in different colors. I think she's mistaken. I have never seen a Gambler machine in any other color than orange. I've seen other shapes on Gambler machines though.
I started using the Top tubes. Immediately I could tell a difference. The tubes aren't as rigid as Premiers. The end of the Top tubes fold over more than Premiers. The folding over might be attributed to user error though since the Premiers folded over on me too. I used a mix or Premier tubes and Top tubes. I found that the Premiers had less folding and I could roll quicker with them because they're more rigid. I rolled a lot of cigarettes. I filled the 2 cases I bought plus 2 store bought cigarette boxes that once contained Winston Ultra Lights and Marlboro Special Blends. I filled a case especially designed for a sandwich. I exhausted my tobacco. I could have saved some but I didn't. I combined the Premier tubes and the Top tubes into the Top tube box. I gave them to Erica. She has more tubes than what normally come in a box. I still have a box of Premier tubes at home along with some tobacco. I'll roll those later when I go to Erica's place next.
I cleaned up my mess and took a shower. Erica started rolling her cigarettes right after I was finished. I shot up after I got out of the shower. Erica can roll almost as quickly as I can and she's blind. She leaves a lot of empty space at the end of her cigarettes though. I hate that. She can roll hers any way she wants but I like mine just like store bought. I pack the ends of the hopper and she doesn't so I guess I'm a little quicker.
I left Erica's apt. and went to Market Street Sandwiches. I ordered an Italian beef combo basket. I ate it there. There was this teenaged or early 20s girl there yapping on her cell phone waiting for her food. She was annoying and she was pissing everybody off. I considered telling her to shut up but I didn't. She stopped talking when her food was ready and she stuffed her face with a sausage.
I walked to Delmart after I finished eating. I relieved Chad. The cappuccino machines were full so I didn't bother with them. I didn't vacuum either. I did all the other duties. The night was steady. When I was outside I saw some shirtless guy sitting in the passenger seat of a pickup truck. He was rolling his head. I went by him and knocked on the window and asked if he was ok. He was drunk, tweaking, or stoned. He just said he was ok and started to walk off, shirtless in 45 degree weather. I went inside to serve a customer. When I went back out less that 2 mins. later, the truck was gone and so was the guy.
After I closed the store I walked to the office. I just waited outside with my bags, one had the now clean casserole dish and the other had my clothes, cigarettes, and other shit. Corey came out after about 15 mins. I was just standing outside. Some woman was walking her dog across the street. I thought it was somebody else. I said to her, "Do you always walk ypour dog this late at night?" She stopped, looked at me from across the street, but other than that there was no response. I realized then she wasn't the person who I thought it was. She just walked on her way.
Nick showed up about 10 mins. after that. Carly was with him. He didn't even angle park. He pulled to the side of the street and Corey and I got in. I got in first and Nick almost took off with one foot of Corey's not in the car yet. It was amusing but I bet Corey didn't think so. I was dropped off at the entrance of the park because there was a car behind Nick when he got to the park, otherwise I would have been dropped off at the road. They went on to The Huberdorm after I was dropped off.

Number 1698-Tue.-Apr.26,2011-2:38 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

I called Dr. Osborne's office this morning. Sherilynn answered I got the same runaround bullshit I've been getting every time I call. She did call me back a little while later though. My answering machine took the call but I called back. She said that Dr. Osborne wanted my last 3 fasting blood sugar readings. Since I haven't been testing since I had my appointment, I made numbers up. I should have said something like, "Wait a minute while I get my glucomter," but I didn't think of that until later. Sherilynn just recorded the numbers I gave her. Hopefully Dr. Osborne will get moving now.
Nick picked me up. Corey 1 was with him. Nick got out of the car and looked at my pipe. He said there is multiple cracks but there's no way he could know that. He came up with this elaborate plan to reconstruct my plumbing. I said that'd be fine. I brought 2 boxes of empty water bottles with me today.
We went to Domino's. We parked in back and Nick went inside to get his check. Corey 1 and I stayed in the car. I got out to smoke a cigarette. Nick came out and we went on our way.
I was dropped off at Delmart. I put the boxes of water in the store behind the counter. I left and went to KC Wireless. Chris had a live Echo and I played with it for a few mins. It's a cool phone. It can run at least two apps at one time. A person can text two people at one time. It cool and all but it's no Evo. The only phone that comes close to an Evo is the iPhone and even that is way behind an Evo. I sell both. Chris traded in his old phone to use the Echo as his personal phone. He traded in an Evo. I think he's on crack but he has to keep up with the latest phones. Sprint allows, in fact recommends, that he change phones when a new cool one comes out. He can change phones without penalty or using an upgrade. I'm not sure if he has to pay new agreement price or not. Chris is cool.
I walked to Delavan Downtown Dele after I was finished fucking around with the Echo. I was going to flip Chris' phone around like a butterfly knife but I don't think he would have appreciated that too much. I ordered a hard salami sandwich at the dele. I got a small bag of chips and a 24oz Pepsi. I ate it there. Before I left I got a 24oz Mt. Dew for Erica.
I left the dele after I was finished eating and walked to Erica's apt. She wasn't there. I considered using my key but I didn't. I walked downstairs to Erica's mother's apt. I knocked on that door. She wasn't there. When I say she wasn't there I mean there was no answer. I heard the TV or radio through the door.
I went to The Smoke Shop. Inside Erica's apt is my tobacco and tubes. I wanted to roll some cigarettes. Erin was at The Smoke Shop. I buckled in and bought another carton of tubes and some tobacco. I used their rolling machine, which is a T2, and rolled 34 cigarettes. I know this because I bought a cigarette case that holds 30 cigarettes comfortably. The case is cool. I like it. It's a black marble looking flip top. The case is made of plastic. There are 2 compartments inside that hold 15 cigarettes each. There is a divider that can't be moved and the compartments can't be removed either. The case was $1.99. It is a bargain at twice that price. I use Puff N Stuff pipe tobacco, the ultra light blend. http://puffnstufftobacco.net/ That's the type that's in Erica's apt. I use Premier full flavor tubes. I used to use the light tubes with the ultra light blend but the drag on light tubes is hindered. I use Premier tubes because they're the best. Gambler tubes suck. The cigarette doesn't fill on Gambler tubes. I can't believe there's no official website for the T2 or for Premier Tubes. I usuall smoke Winston Ultra Lights but I roll my own when I feel like it. It saves money and the cigarettes I roll are just like store bought, no shit. I use Puff N Stuff pipe tobacco because the tax is different on pipe tobacco but so is the cut. The cut is not noticable and the pipe tobacco sold in tobacco stores is meant for cigarettes anyway.
Erin and I talked while I created the cigarettes. After a while, 34 cigarettes to be exact, the machine wouldn't fill the tubes. The injector had the tobacco in it but it pushed the tube out before filling it. I hope I didn't fuck up Dave's machine. Everybody that comes in there uses that machine so I don't know when the last time Dave maintained it. The box of tubes fell twice cascading the tubes all over the floor. Each time I picked them up and replaced them. I knocked them over once and Erin knocked them over once. Some guy came in that was cool. I forgot his name. He said he's going to a Dead Milkmen show in Chicago soon. He told me they've got a new CD out.
After I finished rolling my 34 cigarettes, I went back up to Erica's apt. She wasn't there. I considered knocking on Brandi's apt. but I didn't. Brandi is Erica's neighbor. I walked downstairs and knocked on Erica's mother's door. She wasn't there. The TV or radio was still on. I walked to Delmart. I shot up in the back hallway. I put the Mt. Dew I bought for Erica in the refrigerator. I left my insulin in the refrigerator too. I left and went to Noe's apt. I thought Erica might be there. I went inside the house and walked up the stairs to the apt. that I thought is his. I knocked on the door, no answer. I wasn't certain that it was the correct apt so I knocked on the other apt. that's upstairs, no answer. I left and walked back to Erica's apt. She wasn't there. I walked downstairs and knocked on Erica's mother's door. She wasn't there. As I was leaving the building Dwight was coming in. I said hi to him.
I walked to Bradley's. I just looked around for a few mins. Some woman asked me if she could help me. I asked her if they have sock garters. They don't. I just wasted time. I looked in the clearance basement but all they have down there is women's clothes. They're horrid too. I left.
I walked to Things Remembered. It was starting to rain so I wanted to get somewhere. I walked around the upstairs. It was boring. All there is there is cookie jars. I walked to the basement. The basement was more interesting. I just walked around and looked at shit. When I came up I talked with Lori and her mother. I left because they were closing.
I went to Sunmist Cafe. I sat in my usual spot. Jessica was working. She said the Mt. Dew was going out. I couldn't tell with my first glass but I could with my second. The owner, I don't know his name, went to check it but he said the box/bag was half full. I drank water for the remainder of my meal. I ordered a liver and onions dinner. I don't know why people hate liver. I've always liked it, even as a kid. The only detriment is the hard pieces that one has to remove from one's mouth. I do hate that about liver. Otherwise I think the consistancy is fantastic. I ate the food and left.
I walked to Erica's apt. She wasn't there. I walked downstairs to Erica's mom's apt. She wasn't there. Erica lives on the 3rd floor and her mother lives on the 2nd. Erica has a more spacious apt. than her mother.
I walked to Delmart. I was early but I started doing the duties right away. Chad said he saw Erica crossing the street. He knew I was looking for her because I mentioned that to him when I was there before. I went outside and called to her. She stopped and I crossed the street to her. She wanted a cigarette so we crossed the street to Delmart since that's where my cigarettes were. It's amazing how cars stop when a person with a cane is in a crosswalk. Cars were stopping 50 feet away, no shit. When I cross the street cars try to run me over. Anyway she said that Brad had said that he'd be home to let me in. He wasn't. She said she'd be home all day tomorrow. I told her I'd probably be there. I had the stuff I wanted done completed by the time Chad left. I did all the duties, even vacuumming. The night was steady. I filled the bottles with water. At about 5 mins. before I closed two women came in. I hate that shit. I hate when anybody comes in close to closing not when women come in. I love that. I turned off the lights while they were still in the store. They got their stuff and left.
I closed the store. I waited outside for Nick. Some guy drove up and asked if the store was closed. I guess all exterior and interior lights off didn't clue him in. I said yes. Some cop parked in the lot just before Nick pulled up. The cop was one second away from getting out of his car and asking me what I was doing. That's no big deal. I didn't move until Nick showed up. The cop was there about 30 seconds before Nick showed up and he remained in his car staring at me. Once Nick arrived he left.
Corey 1 and Carly were in the car. Nick dropped Corey 1 off at The Huberdorm. We then went to Speedway in Elkhorn. I pumped gas into Nick's car. Well I put the pump in and pushed the clip down. I went inside. Nick was already inside. Carly stayed in the car. I bought a hot dog for me and a hot dog and drink for Nick. The woman behind the counter seemed like she'd have trouble answering who fought the Spanish-American War. The pump stopped on exactly $54.00. Nick paid for the gas. I asked the woman behind the counter what the odds were of the pump stopping on an exact dollar amount. She said she didn't know. I asked her if that's a one in a one hundred occurrence. She said she didn't know. I finished my hot dog in Nick's car and he finished his while driving. He actually got a Rollito with a bun. Nick drove me home after we stopped at Speedway.

Kim D. wasn't quite ready when I walked to her trailer. I just told her her to take her time in getting ready. I waited outside. As I waiting somebody said hi to me by name from the back seat of a car driving by. At the time I had no idea who it was but I get that a lot. The car stopped at my immediate northern neighbor's trailer. The guy who said hi to me started walking towards me. It was Dario. I've known Dario for 25 yrs. We met in front of my trailer and we talked for a few mins until Kim D. came out. That was about 7 mins. after Dario and I met. He said that Lisa, who lives in the trailer immediately north of me, is his godaunt, whatever that means. We talked about past people we mutually know. Our conversation was brief because Kim D. came out and I had to go. Dario told me he frequently visits next door.
I walked back to Kim D's. car and got in. She drove me to Delmart. I went inside to see how Heather was doing. Today, well yesterday, was her first day working alone. She was doing fine. It was fortunate that I came in when I did because she had to use the bathroom. She did that and I worked the register for a few mins. until she came out. When she did come out I left and walked to Erica's apt.
I took a shower there. I left. I walked back to Delmart and put my insulin in the refrigerator. Erica's refrigerator isn't working. I know how bad that sucks especially since the weather is getting hotter. After I left Delmart I walked to Market Street Sandwiched. I could see their open sign from 2 blocks away. When I got to their door I discovered they weren't opened. I hate that shit. It wastes time. Their sign said they were opened on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. It was about 4:00 p.m. when I was there. I guess they were closed for Easter. WTF is it with closing on religious holidays? Christianity on this issue takes the cake. Nothing is opened on Christmas. I'm just glad places don't close for Hanukkah, Eid Al-Adha, or any other Jewish or Muslim holidays. Everybody would be fucked if they were. We can do away with closings for Christian holidays too.
Since Market Street Sandwiches was closed I walked to La Guanajuato. I guess the Easter Bunny doesn't vist Mexico, thank God. Just kidding, God has nothing to do with it. Anyway, I ordered a chimicanga dinner and a taco. I had never eaten in the restaurant there before. I wanted a hard shell taco but there seemed to be a communication breakdown. I bought two 20oz Cokes in the store and then sat in the restaurant and waited for my food. The chimichangs was huge. I couldn't believe it. I got a soft shell taco too but quickly regretted ordering it. I ate my food but I couldn't finish it all. I hate that. It makes me feel like I've wasted money. There wasn't enough to take with me so I just left it. I paid at the counter where people pay for their groceries too. The whole meal came to less than $7.00. I couldn't believe it. I thought they made an error but I didn't bring it to their attention. The meal doesn't incluse the Cokes, which were $2.50 or the tip I left, $1.50. I would have left more but I did go up to a counter to order, got my own drinks, wasn't really served what I wanted (this is due to the person who took my order not being able to understand English so it's nobody's fault), and paid at a different counter. No person ever came to my table to ask if I wanted anything. The food was pretty good and I didn't even complain when I paid for it with my check card. The guy checking me out said he put $10.00 on my card but he gave me the change in cash. I guess there's a minimum charge at the store/restaurant on credit cards.
I walked to Delmart. I relieved Heather. She did the usual count out and left. I did all the duties except vacuumming. It wasn't needed. The night was steady. It was busier than I thought it would be for a Sunday night. I took 5 packs of Winston Ultra Lights and put them on my tab. I brought tobacco and tubes to Erica's apt because I thought I could roll some cigarettes at her place tonight or tomorrow. The tobacco and tubes are still there. Erica and her mother stopped by. I told Erica that I would probably spend the night at her place but I would also try to find a ride home. Someone was in the store when I said that and offered me a ride after Erica and her mom left. I took him up on his offer. His name is, get this, Corey, unbelievable, huh? He's a frequent customer in Delmart. He was the guy I talked to in Wal-Mart a few weeks ago about a car. Since I don't know either Coreys last name I'll refer to the one who gave me a ride tonight as Corey 2. The other Corey will be Corey 1.
Corey 2 came in just before I closed and bought a pack of cigarettes. He left to take the pack to his girlfriend's house. I closed the store and waited outside. He was there in less than 5 mins. after I closed. He gave me a ride home. I had him drop me off by the mailboxes for 3 reasons. I don't want him to know exactly where I live, the road here is shitty, and his car is loud. He drives a V-8 Camero with headers.

Nick was supposed to come over and we were supposed to work on the broken pipe. When I called him at the predesignated time he was sleeping. I let an hour go by. I called him back. He said he wanted to do it another day. I couldn't convince him because that would have taken too long. He had to be to work at Domino's. In the hour that I let lapse I walked to Kim D's. trailer. I asked if she can give me a ride tomorrow. She can. I also told her that George wasn't around when I needed to go to work on Fri. There was miscommunication all around concerning that. Later in the day George came over to my trailer to explain why he wasn't there. George is a meek and timid person so I just said it was cool and there was a lack of communication, which is the truth. He was all apologetic but there was no need for it. Other than these high adventures, I didn't do shit today.

Number 1695-Sat.-Apr.23,2011-4:46 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

When the time came for George to take me to Radio Shack he was nowhere to be found. I hadn't talked with him about giving me a ride. Kim D. is the one who said she talked with him. I don't know if George forgot, Kim D. was lying, or George had an urgent situation that demanded his attention at that time. It doesn't matter.
I did walk to George's trailer but his car wasn't there. I walked back to my trailer and called Aiesha. I wanted to see if she could give me a ride. She answered. She was in California. I talked to her for a few mins. but didn't even ask her for a ride. I think getting here from L.A. might have made me late for work anyway. I noticed that there was a van in front of my southern neighbor's trailer. I went over there and knocked on the door. The teenaged kid answered. I don't know her name. I was invited in and took a step inside. I asked the guy if he could give me a ride to work. He said yes. I don't know his name either. I probably should find out. I walked back to my trailer and got 2 boxes of empty water bottles. I loaded them into the van and my southern neighbor gave me a ride to Radio Shack. He said it was his day off. I got lucky.
Tony was working when I arrived. I brought the boxes in and put them in the back hallway. I then took the Panera cup I had left there and walked to Panera. I got a large cup of hazelnut coffee for free. I just walked in with the cup and nobody questioned me when I got the coffee. I walked back to Radio Shack.
I filled all 12 bottles with water in the sink in the storage room. After I did that I punched into work. The day was steady. Tony and I just dealt with customers. I didn't sell anything big. Tony sold a TV. He called Heather after we came in from smoking a cigarette. She had completed her application and scored very well on the tests presented. She scored 89/100. That's one of the highest scores we've seen in a while. Most people that apply are idiots. Luckily Heather's not one of them. I don't know what I scored. I never had the ambition to look and I can't now because the scores are deleted after 6 months of filling out the application. Tony set up an interview with Heather for Friday. I said for him to schedule it when I have to be at work so she can possibly give me a ride. He thought that was a good idea so he did that.
There was a rush of people for a while but after that the day was just steady. Tony sold the TV during the rush and I was so busy I didn't notice a 32" TV going out the door. Tony got the service plan with the sale. Jose showed up. Tony went to lunch. I walked to Panera and got a free refill on my coffee. Tony returned from lunch. I shot up in the back room. I called Brodie's Beef http://www.brodies-beef.com/ and placed an order before I shot up. I punched out for lunch and walked to Brodie's Beef. I ate a Texas burger basket there. I was given the food in a bag instead of a basket but I ate it there anyway. They never asked me if it was for there or to go.
I walked back to Radio Shack after I was finished eating. Tony counted the deposit and he and I smoked a cigarette before he left. He left. Jose and I just dealt with customers after that. The night was busier than it usually is but it was no spectacular onslaught. Jose sold a Boost Incognito. I sold about $145.00 in headphones. I took the boxes of water bottles to Jose's truck. Just after I did that it rained very hard for about 3 mins. I closed the store.
After I closed the store I got in Jose's truck. We went to Wal-Mart. I went inside while he waited in the truck. He didn't even park. He just stayed in the fire lane. I went to the A.T.M. and withdrew $20.00. I asked a cashier to break the bill but he had reservations. Geri, my former neighbor, came walking by. She's a C.S.M. there so she broke the bill. We walked to her station and she gave me one $10.00 bill and two $5.00 bills. I got back in Jose's truck and gave him $10.00 for the rides he's given me. He gave me a ride home. I had gotten my boxes out and he was about to leave. I yelled to him to wait. He did. I opened the passenger door and gave him Ken's keys. I had almost forgotten and Jose had forgotten too. It would have sucked if he had left without getting the keys.

Number 1694-Fri.-Apr.22,2011-2:00 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

Heather mentioned that she was interested in working at Radio Shack. I e-mailed her the site where the application is. This morning I received an e-mail from her saying that she filled it out.
I called Dr. Osborne's office again today. I got the same runaround bullshit. I talked to Jaunita and she said that she hasn't received the paper from Dr. Osborne to send into the state. She said she'll call me when she finds it. I'm still waiting. It has been over three weeks since I had my appointment there.
Chad picked me up. I was dropped off at Panera. I bought a large cup of hazelnut coffee. I walked to Radio Shack. When I first walked through the door I couldn't find anybody. The UPS guy brought a delivery and there was still nobody there. I was going to look in the bathroom thinking it was going to be another Brown's Chicken incident when Tony walked through the door. He was in his car smoking a cigarette.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/topic/crime-law-justice/crimes/murder/browns-chicken-massacre-(1993)-EVHST0000201.topic
Tony and I hung out and dealt with customers. We looked at Heather's application but as it turns out she didn't complete it. I called her and left a messege telling her that it was incomplete. Tony and I smoked cigarettes. After that I started in on the order. Tony and I got through it quickly because he doesn't check in anything under $50.00. Tara did. Tara also told me that ineligiable for insurance through Radio Shack but Tony told me I am. He gave me a website where I can apply. Tony said that Tara didn't want to sign me up for insurance because Radio Shack matches what the insurance company pays and it goes against the store's numbers. Tara didn't want her numbers to decline. I asked Tony if I could sue Tara. He said I might have a case.
It was busy today. Tony and I dealt with customers and put away the order. Ken showed up. Tony thought he was supposed to be there an hour before he was scheduled. Just after Ken arrived I shot up in the back room. I called China 1 and placed my order. I ordered szechuan shrimp. I punched out for lunch and walked over there. When I got there they were mopping the floor so the center tables and chairs were pushed to the left (west) side. I ate the food there. It was pretty good.
I walked back to Radio Shack. Tony was still there but he didn't stay long. He left about 15 mins. after I returned from lunch. Heather called the store and I just told her that the application was incomplete. She said she wasn't sure if she should fill out a certain section or not. I told her to do so. Tony and I talked about hiring her and she's almost a shoe in.
The rest of the night was dead. There were a few customers but not many. I hung tags for the new products that came in and for the new prices of certain clearance items. I called Tiger because he told me to call him to remind him to pick me up. I've known Tiger for 25 yrs. He's cool and back in the day we used to hang out all the time. I called him earlier in the day too ask if he could give me a ride home. He immediately said yes.
Tiger was there a few minutes before we closed. He came into the store. He talked to Ken for a few mins. Ken had already given me his keys because I'll need them tomorrow night. I punched in my alarm code while Tiger was still in the store. We all went outside and Tiger drove me home. He drives this kick ass Dodge Ram truck. It has a lot of toys in it. I used to have everything I could in my Delta 88 and he still remembers that and that's why he loaded his truck. He drove me home. On the way home he said I should stop paying Landmark. Nick says I should stop paying Landmark. Dan, who is a lawyer, says I should stop paying Landmark. I'm going to stop paying Landmark. Their lawsuit should arrive in 2 months or so. It'll be the second time they've sued me. The first one was dropped. I asked Tiger if he wanted to hang out but he said he had to get home.
When I got in my house there was a messege from Kim D. She said that she couldn't give me a ride tomorrow but she asked George, who is her neighbor, if he could. She said he agreed to do that. After I heard the messege I walked to Kim D's. trailer. She was still up. I talked with her and told her what time I would be at George's house. She said she would tell him. I couldn't talk with George at that time because he was already asleep, well at least his lights were out.

Before Chad picked me up I walked to Kim D's. trailer to ask her if she can give me a ride on Fri. I knocked on her door but there was no answer. I assumed she was in the shower and left. I walked back to my trailer and Chad picked me up. I was dropped off at Radio Shack. Tony was working. I brought the 2 boxes of empty water bottles in and then left. I checked out some cars for sale in Kohl's parking lot. I walked to Wal-Mart. I deposited $100.00 into my checking account at my bank in Wal-Mart. I have another account at another bank but I'm never able to get there. After I deposited the money I went into Wal-Mart and bought a 12oz sugar free Red Bull. http://www.redbull.com/ I checked out through Sally's register. I asked her if the guy from whom she got her car had any more. She said the only reason she got her car for free was because this guy's brother died and he inheirited the car. She said that he'll probablt inheirit another car when one of his relatives dies. I can't wait that long and murdering someone for a free car doesn't sound like too good of an idea. I was going to leave Wal-Mart after I bought the Red Bull but I didn't. I went back in and bought 2 boxes of Tai Pei Beef Pepper Steak. Once again I checked out through Sally's register. I used my Quest card to pay for the food but used my check card to pay for the Red Bull.
I walked back to Radio Shack and put the food in the refrigerator. It was frozen but putting it in the refrigerator for a few hours wouldn't hurt it. I filled all the bottles with water from the sink in the storage room. While I was filling the bottles Tony asked me to come on the sales floor. He was taking a Sprint or Boost payment from someone we both thought was a transexual or transvestite. After that person person left I went back to filling my water bottles. Tony just wanted me to see this person. It was no big deal to me but I guess it was to Tony.
I punched into work. The day was slow in the begining but it got busier as the day wore on. At first Tony and I didn't do anything except deal with customers. I put all of the force feed order away. Tony helped a little but not too much. He was doing other things. This took us until I shot up in the back room. After I did that I cooked the pepper steak in the microwave and ate it in the back room. After I was finished eating I walked to Domino's and got two 20 oz root beers and one 20oz Coke. Domino's has a deal where if three 20oz sodas are bought each one is only $1.00. I talked with Dave while my order was being filled. He bought a house and is moving in less than 2 months. I walked back to Radio Shack and gave Tony a root beer. Both of us were tired throughout the day. Tony worked from open to close today. Rob Garwalski came in. He applied and came in to yap. I've known Rob for about 20 yrs. He was wearing a black Asian Kung Fu outfit. He kinda looked like a dork. After he left Tony said he wouldn't be hired.
After Tony and I came in from smoking the last cigarette of the evening we carried the boxes of water to Tony's car. I carried one and Tony carried one. I walked to Culver's and bought a small Concrete Mixer. I put marshmellow, strawberries, bananas, peacans, and whipped cream in it. I walked back to Radio Shack and I took out the trash and vacuummed. Tony and I just waited it our for closing then.
After the store closed Tony and I drove to Radio Shack's bank and deposited the deposit. He drove me home then. When I got inside I called Moy's to talk with Kim D. The woman who answered said she just left. I stepped outside and saw Kim D. pulling into the trailer park. I walked to her trailer and asked her if she can give me a ride on Fri. She said she could but it has to be earlier than I'm scheduled to start because she has to start work at that time. I agreed to her conditions.
Just before I walked back in my trailer I saw and heard that my northern neighbor was outside talking on her cell phone. She has a loud voice and I can hear her through the walls. I got her attention and she asked if she was too loud. I said kind of. She said she would go inside the trailer. Jeff still lives there too. She said I was cute. I'd go over there if she wasn't old, ugly, disgusting, and dumber than a Slinky. Having all her teeth might help too but then again probably not.
Today, well yesterday, was Mandy's last day working at Delmart.

Number 1692-Wed.-Apr.20,2011-1:06 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

Dan picked me up. Corey was with him. We stopped at Delmart and Corey went in and got something. Dan filled the car up with gas. I just stayed in the car. We then drove to the office. Dan and Corey went inside and I walked to Erica's apt. On my wat there I saw Erica and her mother walking my way. We stopped on the street and Erica gave me her key and said she'd be back soon. They went on their way and I went into The Smoke Shop.
I was going to talk with Dave or Erin. It really didn't matter which one was there. As it turned out it was Erin. There were customers and I waited until they all left. I guess that makes me sound creepy like a stalker but I don't care. Erin and I just yapped about stuff. One of the customers that left was showing her his new ear plugs. To me they looked like 2 guage or 0 guage. I asked Erin if she was comparing piercings. She asked me if I had any piercings. I told her that the only piercing I have now is in my scrotum. She said that she has an exbf with a Prince Albert. We talked about the hazards associated with having sex with there is an open wound on the man's glans and urethra. Erica and her mother came in. Erica asked for her key back so I gave it to her. They left and I told Erica I'd be up in a few mins. Erin and I talked for a few mins. more, mostly about hookas, and then I left. I bought a pack of Supreme Blend Cherry Cigars. I don't know why. I guess because they're cheap and I wanted to see if filtered cigars are really a substitute for cigarettes. They're not.
I walked up to Erica's apt. I just hung out for a while. I lied down on the couch. Erica left. I think she went downstairs to her mother's apt. While she was gone I moved to her bed. I didn't stay there long. I got up after about 10 mins. and took a shower. Erica returned a few mins. after I got out. I shot up. Her mother came up and got some wax paper and a pan. I left.
I went into KC Wireless to see if I could play with an Echo. Chris said that they were all gone. It was late in the day so I can understand that. I walked to Delmart. I dropped my bag and insulin off. I walked to Buena Vista. I was the only customer in there. I ordered a four taco meal. It was pretty good. The only reason I went to Buena Vista instead of Los Agaves is because every time I've ordered a taco at Los Agaves it has been soft shell. I wanted hard shells today, in fact I always do.
After I finished my meal I walked to Acapulco Delights. I ordered a 1 scoop coconut ice cream sugar cone. I walked with the cone into Remember When. I ordered a large plain cappuccino. I talked with Lori. There's a contest between the downtown stores on who has the best looking window. I voted for Remember When. Delmart isn't in the contest. The prize is a free lunch for one of the employees at the winning store. I forget where the lunch is but the grand prize isn't that grand. A voter who cast a ballot for the winning store wins something too. I forget what that was. It's probably a rubber band or a paper clip.
I walked to Delmart. I relieved Chad. It was raining heavily and there was a lightning strike less than a mile away. I saw the bolt. Chad didn't but he saw the flas and heard the thunder less than a second after the flash. It freaked him out. I don't know why though. I didn't do any of the duties until Heather arrived. When she did she started doing the duties. I made her do all of them tonight while I worked the register. I wrote down the duties in their sequence for her. There was hardly any free time. She did all the duties but it took her until the very end of the night. She did start later than I've ever started though. She got everything done and we weren't late. She's coming down with a cold.
Some guy came in the store. He said he's opening up a new club and asked me if I wanted to work security at it. I refrained from an answer. He said he used to be in The Latin Kings but he's out of it now. I knew this guy was an idiot after he said that. I still might take the job though but I doubt it. I haven't been a bouncer for 15 yrs. Heather told me not to. She knew he was an idiot too.
After I closed the store and walked Heather to her car I walked to the office. Nick and Carly were in Nick's station wagon in front of the office. All three of us went inside. We waited for Corey to get ready to leave. He did and we all went went outside. The smokers smoked a cigarette. We all got in the car and Nick drove me home. I was dropped off in the road and walked to my trailer. He then went on to drop Corey off at The Huberdorm.

Number 1691-Tue.-Apr.19,2011-2:11 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

I called Dr. Osborne's office to see what the status is about my license. I talked to Sherilynn. It sounded like she had no idea what I was talking about. Julie was with a patient so I couldn't talk with her. I'm getting pissed at their lack of action.
Nick picked me up. Corey was with him. We went to Walgreens because Corey wanted some vitamins or some shit. Nick and I stayed out and smoked a cigarette. While we were doing this some woman of about 50 yrs. of age came up to us and asked us if we snoked marijuana, had marijuana on us, or knew where we could get marijuana. I about cracked up. She couldn't have picked two straighter people in Delavan. She was from Mississippi or Missouri or one of those crazy southern states that start with M. She said she was driving back there and was looking to score pot. Her license plate was from her home state. It was Missouri. She just left and walked into Walgreens after we told her that neither of us had any nor did we know where to get it. Corey came out about a minute later.
I was dropped off at the laundromat in Delavan. I put my laundry in the washing machines. I walked to the office and left my detergent and fabric softener there. I walked to Delavan Dele and my $1.06 tab. I walked To KC Wireless http://www.kcwireless.com/ to see if Chris had a live Echo that I could play with. He didn't. He said he won't have a live one until tomorrow. He said I was more than welcome to come in and fuck around with it tomorrow.
I walked back to the laundromat. There was one man and one wire hanger there. I asked the man if it was his hanger. He said no. I took the hanger. I always need hangers. I put my laundry in the dryers. I got to use the one big dryer there. I had two rolls of quarters but I only needed one. I did cash in a dollar for four quarters though. After my laundry was in the dryers I went to Circle Of Friends to see if Robin would give a paper for the roll. They were closed. I went to Tommy Guns to see if Lauren would do the same. They were closed. I walked back to the laundromat and waited for my laundry to dry.
The first dryer stopped and I removed my bedding. I moved my clothes from the small dryer to the large one. There was still about 10 mins. left on the small dryer and I told some woman that she could have it. She quickly took me up on the offer. The laundromat had become quite crowded since I took the hanger. I put my bedding into my garbage bag and walked it to the office. Nick S. was there and I asked him to open the door if it was locked when I returned. He said he would if he was there. I overheard Nick K. and his dad in a loud discussion in Dan's office. The door was closed. I think they were discussing taxes.
I walked back to the laundromat. I gathered my clothes. I put a pair of jens I just washed and dried, 2 rowels, and a pair of shorts into a paper bag. I put everything else into a garbage bag. I walked with those two bags to the office. Both of the Nick dudes were in the hallway. I asked Nick K. to put my laundry and supplies into his car now since he was there. He thought that was a good idea so I did that. I then walked with my paper bag to Erica's apt.
The door was unlocked and Erica was there. She said she quit smoking last night but asked me for a cigarette as soon as I walked through the door. I reminded her of her quitting and didn't give her one. She relented her request. She was preparing chicken alfredo for the homeless. Her church had a free dinner tonight and she was supplying that dish. I took a shower. When I got out of the shower there was extra chicken alfredo. She offered me some. I ate it. I shot up before I ate. Her mother came in. The woman who was picking up the food came in. The food wasn't completely finished so the woman had to wait. Erica gave me a CD to burn. I left.
I went into La Guanajuato and bought a Jarrito pineapple soda. It was the first time I had one. It was horrid. I didn't finish it. I walked to Delmart and put my bag there. I walked to Sunmist Cafe and ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monte_Cristo_sandwich I changed the usual spot where I sit in there. I sit closest to where the food is presented from the kitchen now. This is easier for Jessica or and waitress and lessens the chance of her dropping it. It must suck when waitress drop soup, especially in a crowded restaurant.
A Monte Cristo sandwich, at least the one served at Sunmist, is Swiss cheese and ham between French toast. I have never had one before. I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. It was ok but I only ate half of it. I boxed the half and took it with me. Jessica was working. I left the roll of quarters on the table to pay for the bill along with a dollar to cover the tip. I stood the roll erect.
I walked to Delmart. I relieved Chad. I didn't start doing anything because Heather was going to be training tonight with me. It was busy until she arrived. She showed up an hour after I started. I started to do all the duties. Heather followed me around while I explained what to do. She couldn't follow me around all the time because it was busier than usual. We did the best we could. We got all the duties finished. Had she not been there I don't think I would have completed everything on time. I started doing stuff an hour later than usual. I had a good time working with her and she felt the same. She's a smoker so that helps. I gave her my half of the Monte Cristo sandwich.
After I closed the store I walked to the office. The outside door to the building was locked. I just stayed outside and smoked a cigarette. Corey came out from inside after a few mins. We both waited for Nick K. outside. He showed up after a few mins. Carly was with him. Corey and I got in the station wagon and Nick dropped me off first. He then went on to drop Corey off at The Huberdorm.
When I got in I tried to burn that CD Erica gave me. It was "Haywire" by Josh Turner. I have never heard of him before. She told me it was country. My CD burner wouldn't burn the CD. Maybe it just refuses to burn shitty music.

Number 1689-Sun.-Apr.17,2011-9:22 p.m. C.D.T. (1)

Nick called me yesterday and told me he would be visiting his grandmother at the time he already said he would give me a ride to work. I called Kim D. and luckily she agreed to take me to work. I was also lucky that her schedule could accomodate that. Nick was going to pick me up at 1:00 p.m. but I didn't have to be to work until 4:00 p.m. After I got Kim D's commitment to a ride and called Nick back, I went back to sleep.
I walked to Kim D's trailer when it was time. She also agreed to pick me up on Sun. night. She couldn't pick me up until 9:30 p.m. and I got off work at 5:00 p.m. but I agreed to it. I was dropped off at Delmart. I filled the cappuccino machines while 2 Hot Pockets were cooking in the microwave. After they were finished I ate them behind the counter. I finished eating them just in time to punch into work.
I relieved Blanca. She told me a new girl named Heather was being trained to replace Mandy. Wed. is Mandy's last day. Blanca told me she was going to see "Scream 4" with her kids that night. At first she said "Scary Movie 4" and I thought to myself, "Did they rerelease a movie that's over 5 yrs. old because Charlie Sheen is in it and he's in the news?" After I thought that I asked her if she meant "Scream 4". She did.
I did all the duties. I washed a dirty dish I had brought from home. My shift was steady. I think it's going to get busier because the weather is getting nicer. The increase in customer volume is gradual so I don't know if I'll notice it. At the end of the night I noticed that I had forgotten my key at home. I called Chad. He said for me to lock the front door from the inside and exit through the back. I did that. There is no handle on the back door. I tried to open it after I had left the building and couldn't.
As I was walking to Erica's apt. I noticed that the tattoo parlor was still opened. Their name is Lost Arts Tattoo. http://lostartstattoo.org/ I stopped in to say hi. I didn't stay long at all, less than 2 mins. I just wanted to see why a tattoo shop was opened so late. They were just closing up.
When I got to Erica's apt. the door was locked. I knocked lightly. Brad answered. I went in and hung out with everybody for a few mins. I brushed my teeth and went to bed on Erica's bed. Erica slept in Brad's room. Erica went to bed before I did. Brad stayed up and ate Doritos that I had brought. The bag sure is loud when a person is trying to sleep.
I awoke at around 4:40 a.m. and stayed up for about an hour watching TV. I went back to bed then. Erica woke me up before she went to church but I went back to sleep. I woke again when her clock audibly said it was 10:00 a.m. I brushed my teeth and took a shower. Brad knocked on the bathroom door while I was in there but he didn't insist on coming in. I finished my shower. When I came out of the bathroom Brad went in to take a shower. I left while he was in there.
I went to Circle Of Friends. Mandy's mother, Robin, was there. She's always there. I just called Delmart and asked Mandy her mother's name as I'm writing this blog. I bought another towel. I talked with Robin for a while. The song that was playing when I entered was "The Trolley Song" by Judy Gardland. I love 30s, 40s, and 50s music and I guess so does Robin because that's all I hear in there. We talk about old musical performers. I doubt I could talk to her about Black Flag, The Casualties, or Motorhead though.
After I left Circle Of Friends I went to Delmart. Darlene, Steve, and Heather were there. There was a little bit of time left before I had to begin my shift so I walked to Family Dollar. I wanted to see if Bree was working and ask her how her steak was last night. She had come in and said she was going to have steak for dinner. When I say she was going to have steak for dinner I mean she was going to have steak for dinner. I don't mean she was going to give her boyfriend a blowjob. She wasn't there anyway. I walked around the store aimlessly. Erica and her mother were there. We talked for a few mins.
I walked to Delmart after I left Family Dollar. I relieved Darlene. She left. Steve left. Heather stayed. She stayed 2 hrs into my shift. She basically worked the register while I helped her out. Today was her 3rd time working and she did pretty well. Heather seems cool and nice. She seems smart enough. She's a hottie too. I supervised her while she worked the register. She counted the bank. She left two hours into my shift. After Mandy leaves she'll be working the afternoons on Sundays and I'll be working the night shift.
The shist was pretty busy. It was a nice day so that might have been a factor. Mandy called and she was going to be 10 mins. late but she arrived on time anyway. I counted out and Heather was there. I asked her to give me a ride home while she was working with me earlier and she agreed. I hugged Mandy because that was probably the last time I'll ever see her and then Heather drove me home. As we were walking to her car from Delmart I saw Michelle Vaughn getting gas. I told her that there is a new manager and to apply to Radio Shack again. She said she'll consider it.
When I got in my house I called Kim D. at Moy's. I told her I had gotten a ride home. I called Nick. I told him I had gotten a ride home. I called my friend, Mike. He got hit by a car on Thu. night. He's ok except he is a little sore in spots. He was in the hospital for about a day. He said he doesn't have a concussion. He said the car was doing 30 m.p.h. when it hit him. I find that hard to believe. I don't think he's lying I just think he's mistaken. A person usually has far worse injuries when getting hit by a car going 30 m.p.h. It's a coin toss whether or not you're dead at that speed. Maybe the coin landed on its side for Mike. He did say he broke driver's windshield. We talked for a few mins and then he got off the phone. He said he made front page news in "The Beaver Dam Daily Citizen". http://www.wiscnews.com/bdc/news/local/article_1f57f2c2-67d0-11e0-8d2a-001cc4c03286.html

Number 1688-Sat.-Apr.16,2011-2:26 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

The pilot light to my furnace went out last night. I repeatedly tried to relight but failed each time. I gave up and went to sleep without any heat. It was a cold night last night. Today I tried again. I was successful. It wouldn't light at first but I kept at it. I had to make multiple attempts until it finally lit. Twice I didn't allow the gas to fully escape the combustion chamber and when I tried to relight it there was an explosion. The explosions were small and I didn't get hurt. The furnace suffered no damage since its working now.
I walked over to Kim D's. trailer. It was another cold and windy day. It was raining too. The weather was the stereotypical weather I think of in London, England. It was cold, dreary, windy and just generally unpleasant. I carried two boxes of empty water bottles and the alarm clock I was returning.
Kim D. was ready right away. She was expecting me. We got in her car, Misty too, and left. I was dropped off at Radio Shack.
Tony and Ken were working. I didn't do too much when I first got there. There were a lot of people in the store but nobody was buying anything. They were just looking around. I did deal with a few customers that bought stuff. I filled the water bottles in the sink in the storage room. Ken left before I went to lunch.
I shot up in the back room. I punched out in front of a customer who expected me to wait on him. I couldn't actually punch out because the computer said my password was incorrect. I left with the customer just standing there. I walked to Culver's. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich basket. I ate it there. I walked back to Radio Shack. It was still raining.
Tony showed me how to get a new password when I've forgotten my old one. I did that and it worked. Jose showed up. I put some cell phones away that had come in earlier. We got a dummy phone for the Echo. It looks like it sucks. It looks like it'll break too easily. http://www.echobykyocera.com/ Just before Tony left I returned the alarm clock. I got a gift card for it. I couldn't get my cash back because it has been well over 90 days since I bought it. I paid $12.59 for it and $3.49 for the service plan. Tony got me store credit for $18.96. I don't know how he did it but I didn't argue or question it. Tony left after that.
The rest of the night was very slow until just before closing. I slept in the back room for about 20 mins. About 20 mins. before we closed some people came in to talk with Jose about a computer. There was nobody in the store from the time I returned from lunch until then. They bought some small stuff. While they were still in the store a couple walked in at 8:58 p.m. We close at 9:00 p.m. The guy wanted an Incognito for Boost. http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phones/sanyo-scp-6760-incognito/4505-6454_7-33887903.html I debated on whether or not to sell it to him. I sold it to him, $5.00 is $5.00. I activated the phone. When I first rang it up I didn't include the $20.00 discount for purchasing $50.00 in air time. The woman informed me of this fact right away. The omission of the discount wasn't on purpose. I rerang the phone up. This time I noticed the discount. They laft happy, I hope.
By this time it was 9:14 p.m. Kim D. was already waiting outside. I lugged the water into her station wagon while Jose vacuumed. I closed the store and gave Jose the keys after I locked the door. It was still raining.
Kim D. wanted to go to Culver's. She read my mind. We went there and she went through drive through and got some chili. Just as she got in line in the drive through I went inside and got a vanilla cone. My bill was $2.10 and the girl waiting on me offered a dime so I didn't have to break a dollar. I thought that was amazing and I refused her offer. She insisted. I offered her a nickle since it was the only coin I had. I had a penny too but pennies don't carry much weight. She refused. I started to wonder what was up. I got my cone and left. The nickle was still on the counter.
Kim D. still hadn't gotten her food by the time I had gotten mine. I walked out of the building and into her car still in line at the drive through. She had already placed her order at least. We finally got up to the window and she got her food. She drove me home after that.
I've been watching "Soap" on Crackle. http://www.crackle.com/c/Soap  "Soap is the funniest show on TV ever. Anyone who says differently had no idea what he/she is talking about or has never seen it. "Married With Children", "Police Squad", and "Saturday Night Live" are funny too but "Soap" takes the cake. I remember watching it as a kid when it was on TV. I thought there could never be a show any funnier and except for the shows I've mentioned it's pretty much true. Crackle only has the first two seasons on there but that's better than nothing. I've been looking to find a place where I can watch "Soap" for years. The storyline is continuous and the plot can get intricate so if you're going to watch it I suggest starting at the beginning.

Number 1687-Fri.-Apr.15,2001-1:49 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

Dan picked me up. Corey was with him. I was dropped off at Radio Shack. Tony and Ken were working. I brought a dirty dish from home and I washed it right away in the storage room. I punched in even though I was originally scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m. and it was only 1:20 p.m. I did various shit. Tony was working on the planogram Jose and I did. It was shitty work anyway. After he was done with that I used a scanning gun to get the prices of items that didn't have a price tag. Ken put away the order while I was doing this. There were many new items so I got the scanning gun out again and got the new items' prices. I created tags for them all.
The day was pretty slow. I did deal with customers but my biggest sale was a home telephone. I forgot to mention that I bought an alarm clock yesterday. I bought it because the one I bought on Jan. 7 is too bright. I asked Tony if I could return it for store credit. He said yes. I'll do that tomorrow. The new clock I bought is an extra loud Timex T110T. http://www.timexaudio.com/products.asp?dept_id=1005&product_id=10015
It retails at our store for $14.99 but I got it for $7.57 plus tax. The discount for the employees at Radio Shack is 10% over cost. I think that's a pretty good deal. It changed a couple of months ago from 10% off anything in the store and 30% off any Radio Shack brand items. The discount doesn't apply to TVs, cell phones, or computers.
After I created the tags for the new items Sorted through the new shit and put stuff away. I shot up in the back room. I called China 1 and put in my order. I walked there. I ate there. I ate the shrimp egg foo yung all day special. While I was sitting alone at my table eating, minding my own fucking business, Janet sat down at my table. I didn't like that too much but I dealt with it. Janet is a door greeter at Wal-Mart. She was at China 1 waiting for the food she ordered to be cooked/prepared. She ordered a carry out. I talked with her as pleasant as can be. We talked about things people talk about, the weather, other people we know, our jobs. Her food was ready after a few mins. and she left. I finished my food and walked back to Radio Shack.
Ken and I hung up the multiple new batteries that came in. There was all different kinds. Ken had to rearrange the items on a panel to accomodate the new batteries. That was the remainder of the day. It was slow at night too. Tony left just before Ken and I hung up the new batteries.
I vacuummed for the first time with the new vacuum tonight. It rocks. It's an Oreck U2000H. http://commercial.oreck.com/prod_more_info_xl2000.html It's blue. The old vacuum was an Oreck U2000R and it was red. Both vacuums are very light.
After I closed the store I walked to Wal-Mart. I looked for Nicole in Subway but she wasn't working. I saw Melody at a register. I went to her and asked if she could give me a ride home. I offered her $5.00. She said yes. She didn't get off until 10:30 p.m. and it was only 9:12 p.m. I shopped in Wal-Mart. I bought food and a shirt. I bought other stuff too. I bought baby wipes and dishwashing liquid. The shirt I bought was only $3.00 on clearance. It's a dark green plaid shirt that only lumberjacks and lesbians wear. I shouldn't say shit like that but you get the idea of what the shirt looks like. I checked out through Melody's register. I was her very last customer. I used my Quest card to pay for the food. I thought my benefits might be exhausted for the month but they weren't. I used my checkcard to pay for everything else.
Melody went to the back. The keys to her car were in her coat and her coat was in the back room. I talked to Doris while Melody was in the back. Doris offered me a ride while Melody was gone. It would be easier for Doris to take me home because it was less out of her way than Melody's. Doris asked for $2.00 for gas. I considered her offer and acccepted it. When Melody came back up front I told her. She was cool with it. Doris went to the back room to punch out. Melody stayed with me until Doris returned. Doris and I went to her car. It's a silver Toyota Camary. It looked to be about a 2002 model. I loaded my stuff in the back seat. Her trunk wasn't available. She waited for the car to warm up. While she did this I stepped outside and smoked a cigarette. It was cold outside. It had been all day. The wind was blowing and that made it even colder. I didn't finish the cigarette and I got back in Doris' car. She drove me home after that. She missed the entrance to the park at first so she turned around in someone's driveway and then got me home. She said to me to keep the $2.00.

Number 1686-Thu.-Apr.14,2011-1:47 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

Before I got a ride into work I walked to Kim D's. trailer. I wanted to see if she could give me a ride on Fri. She yelled from in the shower, "I'm in the shower." It was loud enough so I could hear her. I yeleed back that I'd return later but I don't think she heard me. I never did have the time to walk back there.
On the walk back to my trailer from Kim D's trailer my immediate southern neighbor was coming out of her trailer. She of course stopped me and said hi to me. We talked for a couple of mins. She was waiting for a ride too. I don't know her name. I probably should find that out. She works at McDonald's in Elkhorn and her ride came just minutes before mine.
Chad picked me up. He brought up why I didn't come into work at Delmart last night. I told him I had diarrhea. That usually shuts people up but not this guy. He said I should eat a fiber bar. I told him I'll do that.
I was dropped off at Radio Shack. Tony was working. I brought the 2 boxes of empty water bottles inside. I filled them right away. Since I didn't start work until noon and it was before 11:00 a.m. I left. I walked to Wal-Mart. I cashed my federal tax return check at my bank inside there. I walked to Panera. I bought a large cup of hazelnut coffee. I didn't have my rewards card with me but they found my accound by using my phone number. I walked to Radio Shack.
It was rather busy so I asked Tony if I should punch in. He said it didn't matter. I punched in. It was about 11:20 a.m. I dealt with customers. Tony and I just dealt with customers and tried to figure out the key situation. I was closing and I didn't have a key. Tony couldn't give me his because he's opening tomorrow. I suggested that Tony give me his key and I would open the store with him tomorrow. He didn't like that idea. This wouldn't have been a problem had Justin's car not blown up. Justin has quit but he still had the key on Sunday. On that day, after he went to church, his car blew up. I saw the pics of it. It actually just caught fire while he was driving. He got out but then the car did explode. WTF is that? How does that happen? Justin is fine. He'll be laughing about it one day. My key was in the car and it blew up or melted. Justin was going to give the key to Tony on Tue., which was his last day. I was to be given the key today. I don't know if he even made it in to work on Tue. I know the key didn't.
My friend, Andy Cruz, came in. His son was with him. It was his son's 18th birthday. He got a Rumor Touch cell phone with Virgin. Andy was telling me he doesn't have long to live. He was matter of fact about it but how else can a person be? I don't even know what his ailment is. I'll miss him when he's gone. He probably won't survive the year out. I hope I'm wrong. I hope his doctors are wrong.
I sold a Sprint phone to some girl. I don't remember which phone it was. It might have been an Optimus. I sold another Sprint phone, actually two to one person. He was going to get a Rumor Touch for himself and then Tony noticed his wife was eligiable for an upgrade too. Tony talked the guy into getting a cell phone for his wife. The guy chose a Sanyo Vero for his wife. I activated them both. I got the service plan on them both. He also bought screen protectors and a car charger. It was a good sale. Tony also sold 3 Sprint cell phones to one customer. Selling cell phones took up most of the afternoon until Jose arrived.

Jose showed up. He solved our key dilemma by producing Ken's keys. Ken had the foresight to give Jose his keys before he left last night. Had Jose not had the keys, Tony was going to go to Ken's house to get them. Neither Tony nor I knew that Ken gave Jose his keys so when Jose had them we were both happy.
We pretty much just hung out and dealt with customers until I shot up in the back room. After I did that I walked to Subway. I ordered a 12" meatball pepperoni sandwich on white. I put bacon on it. I got the meal. I ate it there. I walked back to Radio Shack.
Tony was about to leave when I returned. Before he did he said for Jose and me to work on the phone accessories planogram. We did. Tony left. Before he left he showed me how to check our daily sales. That's a cool thing and a motivator. I'm glad he showed me how to do that. The planogram had major changes. Whole panels were moved. It was harder than most planograms and too up all of our time. There was only about 30 mins. left when we finished. We didn't even do a good job. There were a lot of items not in the planogram that we had to find places for. I think it looks like shit. I don't know why Raadio Shack, or other stores for that matter, are always moving their stock around. I hate that. The customers hate that. I'f I owned a store I wouldn't move shit around for 50 yrs. I might not even do it then. Of course we had to deal with customers and phone calls while working on this.
After we finished working on the planogram I walked to Wal-Mart. I had already taken the trash out and found a box in the paper dumpster that was still assembled and perfect for my water bottles. I had only brought 10 water bottles so I wanted to get at least 2 more anyway. I found a cart and pushed it with the empty box inside to Wal-Mart. I bought 8 gallons of water, six for the new box and two for the old box. As I was waiting in line to check out I wanted cupcakes. There was a display of Hostess products just on the wall, which was only a few feet away. I walked to it and got some strawberry cupcakes. As I was walking back some woman asked me if I was Nikky. I couldn't place her right away. She said her name was Angie. I immediately recognized her when she said that. It was Angie Kettledon. I haven't seen her in over 20 yrs. She and I were very close back in the day. I checked out and then she and I talked for a little while. I had to get back to Radio Shack to close the store but I can always make time for Angie. Twenty years just melted away in 2 seconds. She had her son with her. He's in karate but I forgot his rank. I forgot his name. She said she's engaged. Her fiance showed up while we were talking. She said we used to hang out back in the day. I didn't remember him. That's ok because he didn't remember me. Angie was surprised. She expected both of us to remember each other. I forgot his name too but he seems like a cool guy. It was great to see her again.
All four of us walked out together. They went to their car and I walked back to Radio Shack. I got all the boxes of water and put them in Jose's truck. I used the back door for this and a cart. I vigorously pushed the cart across the street back into Wal-Mart's lot and then went back in and closed the store. Jose drove me home.
I called Kim D. when I got inside. She answered. She said she could give me a ride on Fri.

I called Delmart. Steve answered. He said I forgot to lock the safe last night. I asked for Blanca. She was there and I talked to her. I asked her if she wanted to work for me tonight. She said no. She said it was too hard on her last time. I called Mandy, no answer. Her voice mail answered but I usually don't leave messeges. Blanca called back. She asked me why I couldn't come into work. I said my stomach hurt. She said she would work for me. She also said it wouldn't be a normal Tue. thing. I didn't go in and I didn't do shit today. I'll pay Delavan Dele next week. I don't think they're going to be too upset over $1.06 anyway.
My CD burner is malfunctioning. I tried to copy some pictures onto a CD but it kept saying that there was no CD in the burner when there was. I deleted the pictures that I was going to copy because I want my computer to run faster. I was pissed that I didn't get them onto a CD but it's no big deal.

Nick picked me up. Corey was with him. The station wagan was full of shit. There were computers and a ladder in the car. The ladder extended through the seating area. I managed to fit myself and 1 box of empty water bottles in. I was dropped off at Delmart.
I put the box inside Delmart. Chad was working. I then walked to Delavan Gold & Diamond Exchange. I had some old silver certificate that I thought I could cash in. The guy looked at them and said their condition was too poor. He didn't even make an offer on a star certificate. He made an offer of $5.00 on one certificate. It wasn't a star. I took it. He took my ID and recorded it and gave me the $5.00. I then left and walked to Circle Of Friends. I wanted to buy more towels. They were closed. I walked to Delavan Dele. Officer Guadian was there. She used to be on the force with my mother. We talked for a few mins and then she left. I used the money I had just gotten for the silver certificate to buy an egg salad sandwich. I also bought a bag of potato chips and two 24oz Mt. Dews. I was $1.06 short but the woman said I could pay tomorrow. I think the woman was Patty's mother. I ate the sandwich there and talked with the woman. She said she knew my mother. She said she used to work for the city. I didn't recognize her.
After I was finished with the sandwich I walked to Erica's apt. She wasn't there. I walked downstairs and knocked on her mother's door, no answer. I considered using the key that I copied but then thought that wasn't such a good idea. As I was standing infront of Erica's mom's door Erica came up the stairs. We went into her apt.
I gave Erica her Mt. Dew. I hung out. I talked with her. She gave me a loaf of wheat bread. She had gotten many loaves at the food pantry. She only had wheat left but she had about 6 loaves. Brad was there too but he was in his room. I think he was sleeping. I went to sleep on Erica's bed. It was the first time I slept on the matress. It's soft, almost too soft. I hate soft beds. I'd be happt to sleep on concrete or on a pool table. I like a pillow though.
I couldn't really sleep too well because Erica kept making noise. I got up and took a shower. I shot up and then left. I walked to Delmart to drop off my bag of clothes and my towel. Melody was there. She asked if I needed a ride tonight. I said I had the box of water bottles and pointed to them. She said that wouldn't be a problem. I accepted her offer.
I walked to Sunmist Cafe. I sat in my usual booth. Jessica was working. She always works on Mon. nights. I ordered the steak stir fry special but I asked if it could be modified to chicken. It was. I also asked if the pea pods could be omitted. Jessica put the order in that way but I found 3 pea pods when the food arrived. I just picked them out.
Since there was plenty of time left until I had to start work after I finished eating, I walked to Family Dollar. I wasn't planning on buying anything but I bought baby wipes and paper towels. I walked to Delmart then.
I relieved Chad. I did all the duties. Nothing too exciting happened. Brandi, Erica's neighbor came in. I asked her if I ever knock on Erica's door and she's not there if I could knock on hers. She said yes but she's not there a lot. A cop came in and asked if the woman who had driven off earlier in the day come in to pay her debt. She had just walked out as the cop walked in. She paid the debt.
Melody arrived a few minutes before I closed. She just sat in her car and waited for me. I put the water and the other stuff in her car as the end of day report was printing. I closed the store and Melody drove me home.

Chad picked me up and dropped me off at Delmart. I went inside but then went outside to smoke a cigarette. I came back in and relieved Darlene. Steve was there but he didn't stay long. My entire shift was busy. It was a nice day out and the first day this yr. I've worn shorts, I think. It might have been a record high today. We got over 80 degrees F. I wish there was the little circle degree symbol on a keyboard. All I did during my shift was deal with customers. There was a moment where I had time to clean the cabinets but I didn't have many breaks.
Chrissy, a regular customer, said she would pick me up after work. Mandy showed up on time. After Chrissy being 15 mins. late I called her, no answer. I shot up in the back hallway. I called Chrissy again when I came out. She answered this time. It seems she had forgotten to pick me up. She said she would send someone to pick me up. That someone was a taxi. I asked the driver if I had to pay for the ride before I got in. He said the owner wanted $10.00. I refused the ride. I went back into Delmart and started calling people. I had brought my cell phone with me today. By today I mean yesterday. I always do. My cell phone has no service but it does have all my contacts still in it. I can add contacts to it too still. I went down the list. I called Andrea, no answer. After I called Andrea the taxi driver knocked on the window and motioned for me to come out. I did. He said he could give me a ride for free. I accepted and got in. I sat in the front seat. The driver's name was Aaron. He was about 27 yrs. old. He said the owner knew Chrissy. I don't know if Chrissy paid for the ride, if she blows the owner, or if the owner won at the casino and was in a good mood. It doesn't really matter but I didn't want Chrissy paying for the ride. I told Aaron to drop me off at the mailboxes in my park. I didn't want him or Chrissy knowing which trailer is mine. Since I only had $1.00 on me, I didn't tip him.

My federal tax return check came today, well yesterday.
Jose picked me up. I brought along one box and one botlle to fill with water. I also brought along a dirty casserole dish to wash. We went to Radio Shack. Tony was working. I filled the bottles and washed the dish in the sink in the storage room. Tony left. I walked to Culver's and bought a marshmellow Concrete Mixer with peacans. I walked back to Radio Shack. It was a very slow night. The biggest thing that was sold was a pair of speakers that Jose sold. I put the water and the dish in Jose's truck before we closed. Nick was supposed to pick me up before he started work at Domino's but his grandmother went to the hospital and he was visiting her. I don't know what's wrong with her.
After I closed the store I gave Jose Ken's keys. Jose drove me home.
