Number 1675-Sun.-Apr.3.2011-7:35 p.m. C.D.T. (1)

Yesterday Nick picked me up. Corey was with him. We went to the office. Nick parked in the municipal parking lot. All three of us got out and smoked a cigarette. After we were finished I walked to Erica's apt. I didn't know if she'd be there but she was. I took a shower. I shot up. I then left and went to the library. On my walk to the library from Erica's I mailed my paystubs and the renewal form to the state to renew my Foodshare benefits. I was writing a blog at the library when suddenly the computer shut off. I didn't know that the computers shut off 30 mins. before the library closes and on Saturdays they close early. That kinda pissed me off. I wanted to get things down so this blog would be shorter. Everything I have written so far in the blog was pretty much in that one.
After I left the library I walked to Family Dollar. I bought Colgate toothpaste for myself and Family Dollar toilet paper for Erica. I walked back to Erica's. She told me that Sheldon had given her $100.00 a day or two ago. With that money she bought a cigarette rolling machine. She didn't buy tubes though because I said she could roll some cigarettes but she said she didn't have any tubes. I find that odd. If I was going to buy something to do something I'd make sure I got all the supplies needed. I asked her if she needed/wanted anything else besides the toilet paper. She said she wanted a Mt. Dew. I left and went to La Guanajuato to see if they sold 12pks. of Mt Dew. They didn't. I started walking to Family Dollar to get a 12pk. but I turned around. I didn't want to walk that far and I wasn't certain if they had it or not. I went to Delavan Dele. I got a 24 oz. bottle of Mt. Dew. They don't accept any type of card there and all I had was $1.00. in cash. The Mt. Dew was $1.57. I offered the dollar for the bottle and said I'd pay the balance on Mon. The girl working the counter agreed. She was just about to close. The tape was already streming from the register. I brought the Mt. Dew to Erica at her apt.
I left and went to Luke's Market Street Beef. Nick Stratton was there waiting to pick up an order for a delivery. He was yapping as I ordered. I ordered a brat combo and a brat. The girl taking my order had the toughest time with it. I explained the order 3 times in 3 different ways. When my food was delivered it still wasn't correct. I ordered a brat combo and a brat. A brat combo consists of a brat, fries, and a drink. There were two orders of fries on my tray. I went back to the girl and told her this. I asked if I had beed charged for the fries. The cook came out and refunded me $1.57 in cash even though I paid with my credit/check card. I guess $1.57 is the standard price for things in Delavan. One order of fries was removed from the tray. I hadn't even touched the tray before I brought the discrepancy up.
I ate the food there, inside. It was a nice day and I could have eaten outside but I rarely do that anywhere. After I was finshed eating I asked the same girl who had taken my first order if they had ice cream. She said yes. I asked if they had cones. She said no. I asked if they had a dish. She said no. I knew I was talking to the stupidest person in the world then. I asked what they did have. She said they have ice cream for floats and shakes. I asked how much a small cup of vanilla ice cream would be. She consulted the cook. She returned and asked me if $1.00 would be good. I told her I'd give her 75 cents. she agreed and loaded a small cup about 3/4 full with ice cream. She asked me if I wanted a spoon. Was this girl for real? I paid her and got the hell out of there. I ate the ice cream standing outside the place. I did use a spoon.
I walked to Delmart. I relieved Blanca. My shift was steady. I thought it would be busier but it wasn't. I did all the duties. Andrea showed up. I haven't seen her in a while. Patty, the owner or at least the peron who works at Delavan dele showed up too. I asked her if I could pay her the 57 cents and she said yes so I did. I took 2 packs of cigarettes and wrote them on my tab. I had a drive off for $41.14.
After I closed the store I walked to Erica's apt. I went in. I brushed my teeth and watched TV for a while. Erica went to bed in Brad's room. He wasn't there yet. I went to bed. I had brough a pillow with me from home because I didn't know if there'd be ample pillows available for me. Brad showed up. He went into his room and talked with Erica. That kept me up. Brad made food after a while. That kept me up. Brandi, the neighbor, returned around bar time with friends. That kept me up. I finally did get to sleep though.
Erica was going to go to church and wake me up before she left. She got up late. She did get me up though. The tardiness to me was no big deal, in fact it was better. I showered and then left. I brought my clothes, my insulin, and my pillow with me just in case I found a ride after I got off work. I put my bags behind the counter at Delmart and then walked to Family Dollar. I bought a 20 oz. Coke on my check card and withdrew $40.00 from the register. There is a $1.00 fee to do that but Delnart's A.T.M. charges $1.50. I walked back to Delmart. I didn't notice any Mt. Dew 12 pks. at Family Dollar and I looked for them.
I relieved Darlene. Steve was there. Chad was there too but he left shortly after I arrived. He said that in addition to my $41.14 drive off I was $20.00 short. Steve came out and asked if I wanted the money taken out on one check. I said sure. He's not taking out for my shortage. I'd rather he did instead of the drive off. That's not because it's less. It's because I don't want to have any shadow of theft over me. I don't know where the missing $20.00 is.
The shift was steady. I didn't do too much except deal with customers. I counted the bank and prepared Mandy's drawer. She showed up on time. After my shift was over Guy, Mandy's father, showed up. I asked him if he could give me a ride home and he said he would. I had arranged a ride with Kim D. but that wasn't until 8:30 p.m., perhaps even later depending on when she got out of work. Guy drove me home.
