Nick picked me up. Corey was with him. Corey needed to get something out of Dan's car so we went to Nick's house and corey got it out of Nick's dad's car. It was a metal detector. He needs that at the cemetery. We went to Delmart next. Corey bought something and I cashed my state tax refund check. We went to the office. Nick let Corey in and then Nick and I smoked a cigarette. He then took me to Ace Hardware. He left to pick up food for Grid Runner. http://www.gridrunnerdelivery.com/ Nick Stratton asked him to make a delivery and Nick Kilkenny agreed.
While at Ace I had Erica's key copied. I also go 2 copies of Delmart's key. I saw Courtney there. She was getting keys made too. We talked for a while. I haven't seen her in forever. After my keys were made I waited inside for Nick to return. At that time I didn't know he had a delivery for Grid Runner. The food was from Market Street Sandwiches in Delavan. I had just eaten there on Sat. Nick Stratton was there picking up an order for delivery at that time. Nick Kilkenny and I went to Mason St. He delivered the food to the door while I waited in the car. He made about $5.50 for the delivery. He then dropped me off at the laundromat in Delavan.
I put my laundry in the washing machines. I walked to the office and brought my detergent and fabric softener there. I walked back to the laundromat and waited for my laundry to wash. Once it had I put it in the dryers. I walked to Delmart and paid off my tab. I walked back to the laundromat to check the time left on the dryers. I walked to Circle Of Friends. I talked with Mandy's mother. I should really learn her name. I bought some sppons, some butter knives, and some forks. The total on those was 80 cents but I gave a dollar.I always overpay there. The money goes to charity. I also bought some chips and a bag of M&Ms. The chips were stale. Threw them away after eating only 1 or 2. The M&Ms were not fresh but they were ok.
I walked back to the laundromat. That's where I threw the chips away. The dryers had already stopped. I got my laundry out and folded what needed to be folded. I realized that I hadn't brought my bath towel from and I would need it later at Erica's apt. I walked back to Circle Of Friends and bought a bath towel for $1.50. I gave $1.75. I walked back to the laundromat and put the jeans I had just washed in a seperate bag than the other laundry. I put the towel in there too. I walked to the office carrying 2 garbage bags of laundry and a paper bag with jeans and a towel. There was also a glucometer in its box in the paper bag. I put the garbage bags of laundry in the office. I put them in Dan's office since he was still in Washington D.C. I walked to Erica's apt.
Nobody was at Erica's apt. but she had given me the key for the day. I unlocked the door and went in. I was amazed at what I saw. There was furniture. There was a couch, this round low chair, a table with 2 chairs, a dresser. a stand with a microwave in it, and a new matress on top of the old matress and box spring. I thought that was pretty cool. I took out the glucomter and set in on the counter. I gave it to Theresa, Erica's mom. I have more glucometers than I need and she needs one. I just left it on the counter for Erica to give to her. I took a shower. Someone had been in the apt. while I was in the shower because a light was on that wasn't before I got in the shower. Nobody was there when I got out of the shower. I shot up. I left and went to the office. The outside door was locked but I knocked on the window. Corey answered even though Nick Stratton was closer. I put my paper bage in Dan's office. It now contained the shorts I was wearing before.
I walked to Sunmist Cafe. My usual booth was taken. I sat closest to where the food comes out so Jessica didn't have to walk as far with it as other booths. I ordered a sirloin steak and shrimp. When I was finished eating the owner, I don't know his name, took the money from my table and delivered the change back to my table. I can't decide if that was cool or not.
I walked to Delmart. I relieved Chad. I did all the duties. The night was slow. I had more of the duties done before Chad left than usual. I had shown up early. I got some Taco Doritos and a pack of Camel Ultra Lights. I put them on my tab.
After I closed the store I checked to see if the keys worked. They do. They're smoother than the keys I had made at Wal-Mart. I walked to the office. The outside door was unlocked. I went in and brought all the bags and detergent and fabric softener outside. I went back in to wait for Nick Kilkenny. Nick Stratton was there and I talked to him. Nick Kilkenny finally showed up. I loaded my stuff into the station wagon. Carly was in the car. Nick K., Corey, and I got in the car. Nick K. drove Corey back to The Huberdorm and then drove me home. When I got inside I made my bed and put the laundry away.
