Chad picked me up. I was dropped off at Radio Shack. Tony was working. I didn't start until 1:00 p.m. and Chad picked me up at about 10:20 a.m. I hung around Radio Shack for a while and then left to get a number off a car for sale in Wal-Mart's parking lot. I walked to Panera after that and got a large cup of hazelnut coffee. I walked back to Radio Shack.
I didn't do too much. I just hung out in back and talked with Tony when he wasn't busy with customers. Nathan, the new guy we're going to hire, came in and talked with Tony too. Tony had to fax Nathan's information in and once he clears the background check he'll start working. The manager at the Lake Geneva store is named Nathan too. I'm plagued with people who have similiar names around me. There's Ieesha and Aiesha, Nick and Nick, Kim and Kim, and Nathan and Nathan. Hopefully you can figure out about whom I'm writing when I forget to include last names or initials.
Nathan left. Ken showed up. I punched in about 40 mins. early. I started putting the force feed order away. Ken helped me. Tony dealt with customers. The day was steady. There was some sort if incident at Tony's apt. He left for a while but returned.
After the force feed order was put away I shot up in the back room. I punched out for lunch and walked to Wal-Mart. I got 2 chimichangas and a 20oz Mt. Dew. I used my Quest card to pay for it. I walked back to Radio Shack and cooked the chimichangas in the microwave, one at a time, and ate them. After I punched back in Ken went to lunch. When he returned Tony left.
I sold a Blackberry for Boost. The woman who bought the phone also bought an Ottterbox case. http://www.otterbox.com/ They're the most expensive cases but they're worth every penny. There is no case that will protect a cell phone better or looks better. The woman who bought the Blackberry did an ESN transfer from her old Boost phone. By doing that I didn't get the SPIFF for selling it. Ken brought it up that I should do an ESN swap. Thanks, Ken. The woman did buy the service plan though and some screen protectors. She also cashed in on her previous service plan on her old cell phone. She did that after she bought the Blackberry. She'll get a gift card in the mail in about 2 weeks.
I walked to Culver's and bought a medium vanilla banana Concrete Mixer. When I got back to Radio Shack it was time to close. I pushed the cart out the back door. In the cart was my 2 boxes of water and the carton of Winston Ultra Lights Tony had gotten for me. I brought the boxes from home and filled them with water before I punched in. Tony gave me the cigarettes some time during the day. I got the cart from Wal-Mart's parking lot one of the times I was outside having a cigarette. After the cart was outside I walked to the front of the building. After Ken locked the door I took his keys. I'll be needing them the next 2 nights because I close with Jose. Jose isn't a keyholder. I'm not really a keyholder either but I can be. I have a code for the alarm.
I pushed the cart to Wal-Mart. When I got inside I asked Nicole who works at Subway if she could give me a ride home. She couldn't. I asked Melody who was working a register. She could. I shopped while I waited for her to get off work. She got off at 10:30 p.m. and it was about 9:15 p.m. I bought all sorts of food. I bought a lot of skillet dishes. Those are frozen premade entrees in plastic that you just put in a frying pan to heat up. I've never made one of those but they look easy to make. I bought a varity of entrees. I also got a case of Coke and a case of Mt. Dew. I checked out through Melody's register and used my Quest card to pay for everything.
While I was shopping I saw a fequent customer at Delmart. I asked him if he knew anyone that wants to sell a car. He did. He said he knows a guy that has a Trailblazer for sale for $1000.00. It needs a new battery though. I gave this guy my number and he said he would give it to the guy who is selling the vehicle.
There was still a few minutes left before Melody got off work. I just hung out by the register and talked with her. I bought some celery which I had forgotten on my shopping spree. I was Melody's last customer and she gave me her keys so I could load everything into her car, well her husband's car. That's the car she was driving tonight. I walked out and found her car. I loaded everything into the trunk. Melody came out after a few minutes. She had to punch out all the way in the back of the store. She drove me home. I brought the groceries inside and put them away. I brought the water in too. I called Nick but there was no answer. I called him again a few minutes before I told him to pick me up at Wal-Mart, no answer. I hope he didn't go out there. I hope he's smart enought to look at his phone and see that I called from home.
