There was a conference call for Radio Shack this morning. I was supposed to be on it. I wasn't. There was an error in setting my alarm. Tony told me yesterday to be on the call. I said I would. I called Tony after I woke up. He said I didn't miss anything.
I walked to Kim D's. trailer much later after I called Tony. I carried 2 boxes of empty water bottles with me. The back door to her station wagon was opened, not unlocked, opened, so I put the boxes in there. I thought she had left the door opened for me. I knocked on Kim D's. door and she answered. She had to get ready or something so I waited outside. She said she had forgotten to close the rear door. I walked to my mailbox and pulled out the only piece of mail in there. It was the form I filled out to the state for the renewal of my Foodshare benefits. I didn't fill in the question about child support. I skipped that section because I don't pay child support. The question was, "Has there been a change in child support payments?". The form was returned to me because that question was left blank.
I debated on whether or not to walk back to my trailer and get an envelope and stamp. I did that. When I got out Kim D. was getting in her car. I walked there and got in her car. She drove me to Radio Shack and I was dropped off.
Ken and Jose were working. Jose filled in the box to the question I missed. I addressed the envelope. Ken left. The night was slow. I sold a patch cord. Jose sold knobs. A few people came in to make payments to various places. That was it. I filled the bottles with water.
Kim D. was waiting outside when we closed. I lugged the boxes of water into her station wagon just before we closed. Misty, her dog, was with her as she was on the ride before. Misty's always with her. Kim D. drove me to the mailbox by Dollar Tree. http://www.dollartree.com/home.jsp I got out and mailed the form back to the state.
On the drive home on Hwy 11 Kim D' and I saw a hitchhiker. She asked me if she should pick him up. I said it was up to her. We had passed him but Kim D. pulled into a driveway and turned around. We passed the guy again and she did the same thing. We pulled over in front of the guy. It ended up she knew him. It was Brian Palenshus. He works at Zingg car dealership. http://www.zinggmotors.com/ A County Sheriff's Officer was driving by as we picked him up. The officer stopped, in the traffic lane, turned on his red and blur lights, and asked what we were doing. We just told him the truth. The officer said to get out off the road, turned off the lights, and drove on. All this took about 15 seconds, if that. Brian got in the car. He gave me a few business cards when I told him I was looking for a car. Kim D. drove him to the edge of Elkhorn and he got out. She drove me home after that.
