Number 1688-Sat.-Apr.16,2011-2:26 a.m. C.D.T. (1)

The pilot light to my furnace went out last night. I repeatedly tried to relight but failed each time. I gave up and went to sleep without any heat. It was a cold night last night. Today I tried again. I was successful. It wouldn't light at first but I kept at it. I had to make multiple attempts until it finally lit. Twice I didn't allow the gas to fully escape the combustion chamber and when I tried to relight it there was an explosion. The explosions were small and I didn't get hurt. The furnace suffered no damage since its working now.
I walked over to Kim D's. trailer. It was another cold and windy day. It was raining too. The weather was the stereotypical weather I think of in London, England. It was cold, dreary, windy and just generally unpleasant. I carried two boxes of empty water bottles and the alarm clock I was returning.
Kim D. was ready right away. She was expecting me. We got in her car, Misty too, and left. I was dropped off at Radio Shack.
Tony and Ken were working. I didn't do too much when I first got there. There were a lot of people in the store but nobody was buying anything. They were just looking around. I did deal with a few customers that bought stuff. I filled the water bottles in the sink in the storage room. Ken left before I went to lunch.
I shot up in the back room. I punched out in front of a customer who expected me to wait on him. I couldn't actually punch out because the computer said my password was incorrect. I left with the customer just standing there. I walked to Culver's. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich basket. I ate it there. I walked back to Radio Shack. It was still raining.
Tony showed me how to get a new password when I've forgotten my old one. I did that and it worked. Jose showed up. I put some cell phones away that had come in earlier. We got a dummy phone for the Echo. It looks like it sucks. It looks like it'll break too easily. http://www.echobykyocera.com/ Just before Tony left I returned the alarm clock. I got a gift card for it. I couldn't get my cash back because it has been well over 90 days since I bought it. I paid $12.59 for it and $3.49 for the service plan. Tony got me store credit for $18.96. I don't know how he did it but I didn't argue or question it. Tony left after that.
The rest of the night was very slow until just before closing. I slept in the back room for about 20 mins. About 20 mins. before we closed some people came in to talk with Jose about a computer. There was nobody in the store from the time I returned from lunch until then. They bought some small stuff. While they were still in the store a couple walked in at 8:58 p.m. We close at 9:00 p.m. The guy wanted an Incognito for Boost. http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phones/sanyo-scp-6760-incognito/4505-6454_7-33887903.html I debated on whether or not to sell it to him. I sold it to him, $5.00 is $5.00. I activated the phone. When I first rang it up I didn't include the $20.00 discount for purchasing $50.00 in air time. The woman informed me of this fact right away. The omission of the discount wasn't on purpose. I rerang the phone up. This time I noticed the discount. They laft happy, I hope.
By this time it was 9:14 p.m. Kim D. was already waiting outside. I lugged the water into her station wagon while Jose vacuumed. I closed the store and gave Jose the keys after I locked the door. It was still raining.
Kim D. wanted to go to Culver's. She read my mind. We went there and she went through drive through and got some chili. Just as she got in line in the drive through I went inside and got a vanilla cone. My bill was $2.10 and the girl waiting on me offered a dime so I didn't have to break a dollar. I thought that was amazing and I refused her offer. She insisted. I offered her a nickle since it was the only coin I had. I had a penny too but pennies don't carry much weight. She refused. I started to wonder what was up. I got my cone and left. The nickle was still on the counter.
Kim D. still hadn't gotten her food by the time I had gotten mine. I walked out of the building and into her car still in line at the drive through. She had already placed her order at least. We finally got up to the window and she got her food. She drove me home after that.
I've been watching "Soap" on Crackle. http://www.crackle.com/c/Soap  "Soap is the funniest show on TV ever. Anyone who says differently had no idea what he/she is talking about or has never seen it. "Married With Children", "Police Squad", and "Saturday Night Live" are funny too but "Soap" takes the cake. I remember watching it as a kid when it was on TV. I thought there could never be a show any funnier and except for the shows I've mentioned it's pretty much true. Crackle only has the first two seasons on there but that's better than nothing. I've been looking to find a place where I can watch "Soap" for years. The storyline is continuous and the plot can get intricate so if you're going to watch it I suggest starting at the beginning.
