It's my gradmother's birthday today.
Nick came in my house when he showed up today. I didn't even know he was here. He said we could start on that elaborate plumbing plan after they're finished putting all the pipes in the park I have no idea when that will be. We exited my trailer and got in his station wagon. Corey 1 was in the car. Since I hardly ever see Corey 2 I'll just refer to Corey 1 as Corey.
Nick drove to Delmart and parked the car in the alley. All other spaces were taken. Corey wanted to get something. I went inside too. I washed a dirty dish that I brought. Brian was there filling out some paper but I don't know what it was. I didn't ask. Chad was working the register but had to move his car because it was impeding the gas delivery truck. I worked the register while he moved his car. I was on the register less than 5 mins. It was merely serendipity that I was even there and could work the register at that time. Corey and Nick and Brian had long since gone. There was some sales rep. milling around the back while Chad was outside but I don't know who he was. I left when Chad came back inside.
I went to Things Remembered. I bought a cup of butter peacan Americano after Lori had explained the differnence betweem latte, Americano, expresso, and cappuccino. I still don't know the difference.
I walked to The Smoke Shop after that. Erin and Dave were there I bought two more of the cigarette cases I bought yesterday. Whrn I first said I was there to buy more cigartette cases, Dave randonly waved his hand around aand said he has all kinds of cases. He does. I zoomed in on the kind I bought yesterdat. I bought a green one and a blue one. Yesterday I bought a black one. Erin told Dave to fix their machine. It was a simple fix. The rubber grommet on the side of the injection cylinder that holds the tube in place when the tube is injected with the tobacco was missing. Erin blamed Tom at first. Tom was there by me yesterday but the machine malfunctioned before Tom came by me. It was about 3:00 p.m. when I was there yesterday and Tom was drunk. Hesmellled like alcohol. I asked what the name of his cologne was. He said Jack Daniel's. Even though I don't like Tom very much when he's drunk I said he couldn't have taken the grommet. There was nobody else by me yesterday. I think the grommet fell off but to sift through all the tobacco that's on the table where their machine is isn't worth it. Dave just put a new grommet on. He said it costs him 60 cents. I didn't want them thinking I took it. They never suggested that but I was the primary suspect. I was the last one using their machine. I was about to walk out the door but then I turned around and offered Dave 60 cents. He chuckled, refused, and said it was no big deal and he didn't think I took it. I left and went to Erica's apt.
Erica was home. All I did was roll cigarettes. I used my tobacco that was there and my tubes. I was in a generous mood so I asked Erica what type of tobacco she wanted and what kind of tubes. She said she wanted full flavor Golden Leaf tobacco and Premier full flavor nonmenthol tubes. I walked downstairs back to The Smoke Shop and bought the tobacco and a box of Top full flavor tubes. I bought Top because I already and at least 75% of Premier tubes upstairs at her apt. and I figured I would try Top tubes and give her the Premiers. Top is more expensive than Premier but I don't know why. I thought all tubes were the same but I'm not certain if that's true. There were variation that I discovered whilee using the Top tubes. I paid for my stuff, well Erica's stuff and walked back upstairs. Luckily Erica's apt. and The Somke Shop are on the same block.
Erica owns an orange rectangular Gambler injection machine. It works well. It works just as well as a Topomatic. Erica said the Gambler machine comes in different colors. I think she's mistaken. I have never seen a Gambler machine in any other color than orange. I've seen other shapes on Gambler machines though.
I started using the Top tubes. Immediately I could tell a difference. The tubes aren't as rigid as Premiers. The end of the Top tubes fold over more than Premiers. The folding over might be attributed to user error though since the Premiers folded over on me too. I used a mix or Premier tubes and Top tubes. I found that the Premiers had less folding and I could roll quicker with them because they're more rigid. I rolled a lot of cigarettes. I filled the 2 cases I bought plus 2 store bought cigarette boxes that once contained Winston Ultra Lights and Marlboro Special Blends. I filled a case especially designed for a sandwich. I exhausted my tobacco. I could have saved some but I didn't. I combined the Premier tubes and the Top tubes into the Top tube box. I gave them to Erica. She has more tubes than what normally come in a box. I still have a box of Premier tubes at home along with some tobacco. I'll roll those later when I go to Erica's place next.
I cleaned up my mess and took a shower. Erica started rolling her cigarettes right after I was finished. I shot up after I got out of the shower. Erica can roll almost as quickly as I can and she's blind. She leaves a lot of empty space at the end of her cigarettes though. I hate that. She can roll hers any way she wants but I like mine just like store bought. I pack the ends of the hopper and she doesn't so I guess I'm a little quicker.
I left Erica's apt. and went to Market Street Sandwiches. I ordered an Italian beef combo basket. I ate it there. There was this teenaged or early 20s girl there yapping on her cell phone waiting for her food. She was annoying and she was pissing everybody off. I considered telling her to shut up but I didn't. She stopped talking when her food was ready and she stuffed her face with a sausage.
I walked to Delmart after I finished eating. I relieved Chad. The cappuccino machines were full so I didn't bother with them. I didn't vacuum either. I did all the other duties. The night was steady. When I was outside I saw some shirtless guy sitting in the passenger seat of a pickup truck. He was rolling his head. I went by him and knocked on the window and asked if he was ok. He was drunk, tweaking, or stoned. He just said he was ok and started to walk off, shirtless in 45 degree weather. I went inside to serve a customer. When I went back out less that 2 mins. later, the truck was gone and so was the guy.
After I closed the store I walked to the office. I just waited outside with my bags, one had the now clean casserole dish and the other had my clothes, cigarettes, and other shit. Corey came out after about 15 mins. I was just standing outside. Some woman was walking her dog across the street. I thought it was somebody else. I said to her, "Do you always walk ypour dog this late at night?" She stopped, looked at me from across the street, but other than that there was no response. I realized then she wasn't the person who I thought it was. She just walked on her way.
Nick showed up about 10 mins. after that. Carly was with him. He didn't even angle park. He pulled to the side of the street and Corey and I got in. I got in first and Nick almost took off with one foot of Corey's not in the car yet. It was amusing but I bet Corey didn't think so. I was dropped off at the entrance of the park because there was a car behind Nick when he got to the park, otherwise I would have been dropped off at the road. They went on to The Huberdorm after I was dropped off.
